Hotel Facon Grande

The hotel is located in the city center, next to Florida Street, where you can exchange dollars. Delicious breakfasts with friendly people. We don't understand Spanish, but the people at the reception were always ready to help us.

We got a small room, we had 4 suitcases and it was quite cramped. It is very inconvenient that the air conditioning is turned on through the reception, it is impossible to turn on the cooling yourself.

The hotel was in a nondescript building, essentially without nay charm. But if fulfilled my requirements. Price quality is good. I just had to block the airconditioning vent with toilet paper since I do not like airconditioning, especially set as if electricity is free of charge. The ceiling had a vent which provided agreeable cooling. Breakfast was a bit sober and they still had the covid style breakfast where you are not allowed to serve yourself.

The location is great. The staff is nice. The room was nice, big enough and with a small terrace. The breakfast was good.

The air conditioning was central, which meant I couldn't set it to the temperature I wanted. ... I called the front desk several times to change the temperature because it was often very cold. The staff, who were really nice, changed it every time... but it was a bit uncomfortable.

Had dinner in the hotel and it was very good and at a good price. Breakfast was also tasty and there was plenty of variety.

The room was hot and there was no control of the thermostat. Also, when turning off the light to sleep, it didn't go all the way off and was instead a night light at a low level. Well, even at that low level it was very hard to sleep.

Nice and comfortable hotel in the city center. The staff were all friendly, professional, and above average. The breakfast was rich with plenty of choice (perhaps even the best we've ever had in Latin America). As somebody mentioned earlier, the A/C was bit too much, and the bathroom was so-so. We recommend the nearby restaurant "Posada 1820" for a great evening meal! (It's possible to pay in US dollars with a good rate).

Central location, comfortable bed and great breakfast. We felt safe in the area after dark too. If you can get a room on the 9th floor it will give you a balcony too, which was a great bonus!

Lots of reviews mention issues with centralised AC, we found it fine during our stay and wasn't an issue

The location is very nice, central, close to Calle Florida and Avenida Cordoba. Many restaurants nearby and a big store in the same block, which is open 24/7. The satff was very nice and helpful.

No smart TV and breakfast was buffet but served by hotel staff, not self service, which I preffer.

Very good breakfast, although it is served by employees which enhibits your choices in someway. Very clean hotel/ well kept. Good location, close to downtown/plaza de mayo/ calle florida

Everything was OK, worth money I paid

Breakfadt was like buffet but you can't choose on yourself, a waiter serves you and because of language barreer it was a bit difficult to communicate with a waiter, so I decided to not bother them much. Buffet should be buffet.

all were pretty clean and neat , breakfast was really good, location was great, very close to key places from the capital, easy access to the location, easy to reach on maps. great spot!
