Emerald Highlands Motel

This motel is an absolute gem in comfort and exceptionally clean.Beautiful white cotton sheets and a fantastic blend of modern and 80s retro to the highest standard.We have stayed at thousands of motels but this had a great ambience.Met by really friendly reception and as theres no restaraunt we had the menu for a local noodle take away which proved to be great value and quality. It is also a 5 min walk from a Woolies Mall,Pitzza hut and KFC.The Emerald Hospital is also very near. The motel is tucked into a quiet street and the bed was super comfortable. Small laundry available if required.Highly recommend this motel.

Absolutely nothing

This was my second stay. And my first stay was incredible in comparison. I really like the value for money, how good the bathrooms are for the space and price and the beds set up. Also the fact that dogs are allowed on request. I like the ability to check in past 5pm which is rare around here. I also really loved that the hotel had been able to repair the chair we reported as broken during our last visit, and that they stored an item for us that we left behind during our last visit

In this visit unfortunately the room wasn't as clean as our last visit and I was left quite disappointed. The toilet had a very strong urinal smell which did not exist on our last visit, and when I moved the cushion on my bed (the double bed) there was what appeared to be a bug and a stray short curly hair. Luckily when I checked in the morning it wasn't a bug but a piece of eucalypt. I was still unhappy as the presence of these items meant the bed had not been as clean as I would have liked.

Despite the fact that from the outside this may seem a little like a generic motel the inside of the rooms will surprise you. I'm actually coming back again because after my previous experiences on the road I was so delighted with how this hotel room was laid out, the bathroom was brilliant considering the constraints and the bed was incredibly comfortable.

The only reason I'm not providing a 10/10 was that there was a broken chair outside the room that my nurse friend was very upset with. However I believe that the hotel resolved that when she raised it with them

fifth time we have stayed here. Always receive a warm welcome. The room is spacious and spotless. Importantly, this motel is pet friendly. Despite being on the main road, it is set far enough back that the road traffic is not noticed. As long as you are not deterred by the "kerb appeal" this is an excellent stop on a road trip and we could imagine it would be a very pleasant stopover for two-or-three days in the area.

the motel is aging but the owners are progressively improving it.

The staff were very accommodating, I seen there was a bbq area but couldn’t find the bbq I asked the staff they got it out and ready for me by the pool area, I needed extra bowls the staff got it for me. very friendly very helpful could not have asked for more

The parking and that is just nit picking other than having the car at the door it’s a bit down in front of another rooms door so just disturbing other guests was probably my only issue.

Central location and close to everything you may need. Clean room and hot showers were appreciated. It's very close to the pub, which serves a great feed. Having guest laundry facilities was a bonus.

Not having any plates, bowls, cutlery, hand towels or washers available for use.

Clean neat and tidy , quiet and felt at home Shower and toilet clean . Typical motel room layout but very clean , bedding crispy clean . Like the idea of shaving cream

Bit more coffee sachets would be nice but I know if I ask you will give them to me And yes you do leave 6 in there ( normal person that's enough) But I drink lots of it

I really appreciated how clean the motel and room was, the bed was roomy and super comfortable. Plenty of space to do some office work and walking distance to plenty of shops and food. The lady at the desk was kind enough to lend me her charger for a short while which I was super grateful for.

it was a good size, a great location, it had everything we needed

the airconditioner filter was very very dirty so we cleaned it and there was a step up into the bathroom which my elderly mother tripped on every time she walked into it. it did have hazard tape on the way in but coming out it is hard to tell there is a step down so I would recommend a hazard strip across the top as well
