Atura Dandenong

The reception staff were busy with other guests when we arrived - no problem there was table football and table tennis to keep us entertained while we waited! The room was large bright and modern and there was a coffee pod machine - BONUS!! The micro brewery that was attached to the hotel was also a bonus - Happy Hour went down a treat as did the Pizza.

The only let down was the lady at breakfast that decided to handle all the pancakes before choosing the one she wanted (even though there were utensils there to be used) and the staff member behind the counter proceeded to wipe her nose on the back of her hand!

Ok, to say I loved this place was an understatement. I travel a fair bit and often hotels have a few let down which is to be expected. But this place was great. I wish this place was centrally located to the city as I would book it every time I come to Melb. The staff were SUPER friendly and helpful even when I needed to extend my stay by an extra night. Room is really clean and modern. Shut out blinds, good heating and cooling. Comfy beds and extra pillows. Great bar area, free parking and across the road from a bunch of food outlets.

Self Check-In Kiosk: LOVE IT! Every hotel should have at least one of these. It made checking in and out much speedier than in many other hotels we have stayed at. Also love that it gives you two room cards if desired. Facilities were clean and pleasant. My wife and I both liked the sensor lighting in hallways. Wifi in rooms was mostly very strong and very easy to connect to. I wasn't able to claim it due to only staying overnight, but I loved the idea of a $10 F&B (food and beverage) credit for going without room cleaning and to be more environmentally aware- what a great idea. Loved the fact the curtains blocked out all the sunlight- what a great sleep! A great hotel option for overnight and even better for short trips or weekend stays.

I didn't like having to walk on the road up to the entry, especially when some shops and restaurants were within easy walking distance. Water temperature in our bathroom was inconsistent and dangerous at times.

The smell when you are in the building so divine, staff quick to respond, talkative, informative and very polite. Coming from a 5 star hospitality background I know what to expect this place delivers, immaculately clean, so so quiet, you felt you were the only one there, bed was divine, the room coffee facilities are great Mugs and even a pod machine which I didn't expect, even a great Mini bar. The linen was lovely, all Mr Smith brand amenities was available to use. Heating was on when I got in my room, easy to use. Even checkout was painless and car parking was perfect. Flat and easy areas to cart your luggage. Resteraunt and rest area lounge was lovely. I even purchased their scent its so nice. Will return!! Thankyou

If anything to be picky was the WiFi was a bit slow and a tad painful pausing while watching on my note Netflix.

Spacious rooms, comfortable beds, games available at lobby, self check-in options, all the essentials were available in the room, breakfast included in price. There was Woolworths and other fast food takeaway places at walkable distance.

Room could use a microwave. We stayed over on a Sunday night for the long weekend and we came in pretty tired.. we had some food with us but couldn't heat it up as there was no microwave. There was a microbrewery at the property but this was closed too but could have good to give it a try. The only thing I disliked about the bathroom was the absence of a walk-in shower.

weve stayed at atura Dandenong 4 times now over the last 2 years. We highly recommend to our families if they come from interstate as we are based in Perth WA. we love the comfort of the beds, the welcoming of the guests and esp the Check In machines so easy to use & navigate to check in and out. The staff is awesome helpful and friendly. location is big for us as our family we visit are usually within 15min commute and Dandenong Markets being the first place we visit after we settle in at the hotel. Everything about the Atura Dandenong makes us feel special and luxurious love coming back and finding new updates added to the hotel but very ecstatic with our stay

One of the best motels in Dandenong. Value for money.

I was given room 122. Please note that the lil cabinet door to the fridge was broken and it was impossible to open the fridge. And the towels were smelly. I specifically requested one full bed, instead of giving a queen or king sized bed two single beds were joined together. If not for the above mentioned things the rest was excellent.

The location was great, supermarket and lots of food options a short walk away. It is set back a little from the main road, which was great. There was no road noise and made it feel really safe for us and the car. Neat and tidy inside and out with comfortable modern furnishings. Staff were attentive and helpful. Would definitely stay again next time we stay in the area. Highly recommend.

A few little marks on the carpet, towels could do with replacing and some more black tea bags would have been great (didn't ask for more so can't really complain there). Small issues for an overall great experience and price.

Very nice spacious room and bathroom. The entrance to the hotel was welcoming. The staff that greeted us made us feel comfortable and were able to assist us with our questions about nearby shopping and beach requirements. The hotel was very quiet with no noise to be heard from the rooms. The breakfast was sensational. I really enjoyed it and the relaxing vibe was felt by other guests as everyone was smiling in the lifts, around the grounds and at the eatery. The car parking was easy to locate and safe. It was a really great place to stay, excellent value for money and we will be back

Absolutely nothing

So much to like. Friendly staff - lobby great for kids with foosball, table tennis and a bar. Great space to hang out. The room was bigger then most hotels, bedding immaculate and breakfast was super.. food made in small batches by the chef - so everything always hot and fresh in the buffet. Amazing value for money. I was told there is 24 hour access for a gym next door and limited access to a pool. Would love the pool to be more accessible as it would really benefit families, other than that - It’s a great stay.

I read other reviews and agree, the hotel can’t be faulted - it’s a shame such a great venue is dominated by the surrounding car park - that overwhelms the building.
