Manjimup Kingsley Motel

We both had a great time The receptionist when we booked in was very lovely and polite. I would also like to point out that the service, by all the wait staff in the restaurant was excellent Susan made us feel very welcome, and we had a great laugh together. She was also very accomodatiing with the desert. Once it was served, I realised I couldn’t have the ice-cream, as it was garnished with a strawberry. I am allergic. Straight away when Susan found out she took it away and bought me a fresh serving of ice-cream. We also loved the fact that we could order from the Little People menu, great job everyone. Made the visit so much nicer and one that we will remember, and we will be returning.

My partner and I were very pleased with the general cleanliness of the room, size of the bathroom and the facilities available to use. We did not expect room service to come clean our room and remove dirty towelling on our second morning as we were only staying 2 nights but, we are very appreciative of the fact that they did.

Nothing of great importance really, just possibly some small plates or cutlery for use when eating in our room.

Location is reasonably convenient with the town centre only a few minutes drive, we had a fantastic dinner at the onsite restaurant and everything served to us was delicious, from the entree of prawn & chorizo skewers, the rolled roast pork main & finished up with the bomb alaska for dessert, could not fault.

While the size of the bathroom on a whole is very generous, we did find the shower cubicle lacked just a little in size, however it’s perfectly functional

Great location, close to shops and restaurants. Also very close to herritage park - great for families. Friends were at Pemberton so it was only 20mins drive. Free parking available - we booked the two bedroom suite and it was lovely to have connecting rooms with friends room is as described - look exactly like the pictures. Although it is a motel, they have daily room service! this is a +++++ we really love it!

the only thing that could improve is the facilities (Microwaves). it stated that we could request for for it however during our 3 days stay we couldnt get any. we have young kids so it is a little inconvenient for us. The receptionist was lovely and said we could use theirs at the reception. I suggest maybe request earlier that you would like a microwave in your room. this is just something minor, did not affect our stay

Friendly, helpful staff. Clean rooms, cleaners did a great job of cleaning every day. The beds were comfortable. The rooms large. Great options for family's with the interconnecting rooms. Not much to look at from the outside but modern and comfortable inside.

The restaurant was a little bit expensive, some of the menu items weren't very clear for kids (mac and cheese actually had mince in it [but didn't say that on the menu] which my lad didn't like). No wine glasses in the rooms. No netflix and the internet wasn't very reliable. Not sure if possible and doesn't affect the score but would have nice to have a place to store bikes.

Just two nights at the motel while attending a school reunion. We enjoyed a renovated premium room - a Queen and single bed, one bedside table, small table and two chairs, TV, side cupboard with the bar fridge and three drawers plus a narrow hanging space. The bathroom included hand basin, small shower space and toilet. All in good condition (as new), functional, air con (for warmth) and comfy. Not luxurious but very serviceable.

Manjimup is a business centre with presumably lots of business people passing back and forth. There are terrific tourist places to visit (Heritage Park, museums etc) but my guess is that many don’t. An additional sink near the kettle (rather than the bathroom sink only) perhaps a long mirror in the room and a soap dish in the shower would be helpful - but not required.

Its a nice enough place to stay. The staff at check in are lovely and look after you. The room itself has been renovated in the last 2-3 years and are nice enough. Easy parking right outside the door which is great.

$215 for the room is way too much! The little bugs flying around the room are very annoying too and there was plenty of them! Paid $37 for a small piece of overcooked Barra but the chips were nice!

The rooms were tidy. And the food at the restaurant was nice.

Our last night there was noisy. A group of speedway drivers arrived back at the motel at about 1 am. They sat outside there room and were having a party that lasted for about 2 1/2 hours. Which woke us up very inconsiderate. There was no way of contacting management to complain.

1) The bathrooms were extremely clean. 2) We received a microware upon request as there were no shops open during the Christmas holidays. 3) There was a new extremely noise neighbour on the 2nd day. Someone complained and they were told to vacate. Had a good sleep on the final night.

I'm not sure if it was the season but there were insects everywhere. Not sure how it was getting into the rooms.

the trip I had was quite traumatic - and the hotel and staff were a like a becon of calm amidst the turmoil...thankyou so very much having the restaurant on site was fabulous - one less thing to worry about, and the only time I ate during my trip
