Exceptional location, close to many food and drink restaurants and bars. Peaceful walks around the Quay, close ferry access to South Perth, close to the inner city shops. Hotel staff are exceptional communicators through email or in person. The room it's self was on the 5th floor and had a very calming and wonderful view of tree's and the Quay/swan river. All this can be viewed through the large seated bay window, I will admit this is the best feature I have seen in any hotel, we used it ALOT loved it, partner fell asleep on it. Bathroom and bedroom both very nice.

I didn't like that our room heard water from toilet flushes above or something move past our room in the pipes, it was loud each time. The Wilson parking is not great (also expensive), and it was never planned to have guests have good access to the hotel if you use the carpark, you walk past the back of the kitchen with blowing fans and concrete (they should put a bench and some potted plants to make it more friendly for both co-workers and guests)

We loved the beautiful, clean room and the gorgeous bench seat overlooking the Swan River. It’s quiet and peaceful yet has a great location close to Elizabeth Quay, the mall and Woolworths. We cannot speak highly enough of the reception staff. They were so friendly and went above and beyond to help accommodate us for our 4th visit after our flight was cancelled. They offered us an early check in and a late check out and helped us in more ways than one. We cannot thank them enough. It’s definitely our favourite hotel in WA! We would love to stay there again.

It was pretty much perfect. I can’t think of anything except maybe an extra hook in the bathroom.

This is a beautifully curated hotel with a slight Japanese style decor. The rooms are small but very well laid out with clever use of space. Bathroom was lovely. Everything is fresh and new. Loved the window box seat with great view of the river. Breakfast was in the cafe downstairs with a good healthy menu, for dinner and lunch you have all the restaurants of the Quay and city at your doorstep. Reception desk staff were lovely and friendly. We will be back!

The only thing was the carpark behind the hotel had a bit of a dingy elevator and signage was not that clear for pedestrians after you have parked your car. But this complaint in minor, we loved everything about this hotel!

Lovely, spotlessly clean, spacious room and bathroom. Pretty view of the river, table and chair for working if needed, sweet little cafe, friendly and helpful staff, terrific location, huge bath, comfy bed, nice room service menu. Absolutely perfect co-working space which I was able to use the day I checked out.

Very minor quibble - was surprised at no iron in the room, but you could ask for one. There is building going on in front of the hotel which is impinging on the view and will do so in future I think.

Room service very timely and efficient, and the meals ordered were excellent. Breakfast was also nice in the cafe, but did expect to receive toast with the scrambled eggs. Girls on reception were all professional and friendly. Room was extremely clean but a bit on the small side. Would recommend hotel for short stay and would personally stay again.

Room although beautifully furnished and very clean, found it a little small, especially when you have 2 suitcases. I guess you get what you pay for. Would recommend another hook in the bathroom to hang clothes while showering. Just a thought!

The Quay Hotel was very easy to get to and in a quiet location. The staff were helpful and friendly and the little breakfast cafe was great. Room was spotless and the king bed very comfortable. We could get to most places in the city because if the central location and the South Perth Ferry service was a 3 minute walk. We parked in South Perth and caught the ferry to and from the hotel. We would definitely recommend it to our family and friends.

We felt disappointed that the rooftop restaurant was closed on a Sunday and Monday but a great variety of cafes and restaurants within close proximity.

Very modern and a fresh design. We upgraded to free parking and free breakfast which was very worth it. Best cafe breakfast I’ve had in a long time, super tasty. Location was great - opposite Elizabeth Quay and super close to the shops and restaurants of the CBD.

Wasn’t happy about the service at the HQ rooftop restaurant. Just be aware that views are being impeded by the construction at Elizabeth Quay. Didn’t ruin our stay but I assume views of EQ will lessen as the construction continues.

The location is perfect and near to the City and Railway. The reception staff were great and well informed. The Bar, office facilities and ground floor Cafe was 1st class.

To find something negative would be to just be nitpicking and not helpful to those that are reading this. You should remember, this is a short stay environment not your home with those comforts. Tea, coffee, TV, clean shower, towels and a comfy bed close to shopping and transport are the priorities and the Quay Perth fits the bill and more.

Harry had it all in hand and was excellent as head waiter. There were plenty of servers but they were hit and miss.

There were some training issues with the staff to do with service. Wine tasting normally a small serve once the tester is happy the glasses are filled, on this occasion taste given and she just left the table leaving us guessing and us to pour our own first glass. I ordered a bottled beer and just left the bottle no glass was offered. When desert was served (cheesecake) only spoon supplied and no desert fork. The starters was mixed, the small tempura prawns was good but the pork bao buns were very chewy, so i just ended up taking the meat out. I had the steak fillet which was cooked to perfection BUT the salad on top of the steak had far too much chili (i like hot food) and distracted from the excellent steak, the wife fish was spot on.
