Everything. The room, location, the staff.everything & everyone was exceptional

I had booked two nights earlier and had to cancel them. I added two nights on the end of the trip for a total of 9 nights. I was still charged $1500 for the first two nights cancelled. This was very disappointing.

We visited this gem of a property for Christmas this year!! Magical time to be in Salzburg. This hotel exceeded every expectation we had and was the best hotel we stayed in during our honeymoon. From the anticipatory service from the lovely team members (everyone was truly hospitable!) to the plush bedding & heated bathroom floors, we were in heaven during our stay. Highlight: Before the Christmas Eve dinner in the hotel, the team members (and members of their families!) sang to the guests attending dinner…it was so special, making us feel like part of the family. We truly enjoyed that touch and will never, ever forget our super special Christmas in Salzburg!!

We have stayed there 3 times. Love the Gemütlichkeit of the staff and the facilities. Right on the Getreidegasse in the center of the Altstadt.

Lovely suite but not in main hotel, had to cross the street from main hotel to different building, it felt more like an apartment rental not a hotel, bar and restaurant disjointed in different areas not very clearly identified, when asked staff gave a brief tour which was helpful. The building is beautiful. Room staff and bar helpful and friendly, restaurant staff less so. Food okay but over priced.

More inclusive and joined up as a hotel would normally be, maybe make it clear the suites are in a different building without any other facilities, for example a lounge.

The hotel was located in the Old Town and we really appreciated the decor - felt like we were in a modern cave-like structure. The route to each room was really interesting and fun. While the room is not very spacious, all of the amenities and layout felt purposeful, luxurious and cosy. We appreciated the touch of details like the fruits, wine and especially the chocolates during turn down service. It was so convenient to just step out into the Old Town to explore.

Friendly and highly efficient staff - all our needs were anticipated. Location - right in the heart of the old city and easy walking distance to the main attractions. Parking - hotel staff parked our car and retrieved it from the car park when requested. Food - excellent breakfast. ( didn’t have an opportunity to try the restaurant for dinner)

Beautiful newly renovated hotel. Perfect central location. Very helpful staff.

The stay was perfect, except for a minor hiccup that the air conditioning was not working in the room, but they were very helpful to get me a fan for the night. They did offer a new room, but it was late at night, and we didn't want to pack up and move to a new room.

Excellent location! Exceptional property! First class operation! The breakfast, the best in Europe! Wonderful staff! Always a pleasure from the very friendly and helpful staff to the refined elegant hotel! I have been staying at this property for the last 30 years and will never stop coming!

the staff was so friendly. Room was cleaned twice daily. staff was so informative. breakfast was good. employees were wearing uniforms representing the local tradition of Salzburg. my wife and I enjoyed very much our stay.

The room and amenities were excellent and so was the restaurant. What really impressed me the most was the customer service from the staff. I was pleasantly surprised at how professional and nice everyone was. Most went above and beyond my expectations. Thank you.
