Asdal Gulf Inn Boutique Hotel- SEEF

Clean, modern hotel and very good value. Room was a good size and had a nice big bed. Reception was really good by Ali and his colleagues - damp facecloth proffered when I came in out of a hot dust day, taxi came quickly when ordered etc. Didn't have breakfast but a late night burger went down nicely! Didn't use other facilities so cannot comment. Convenient for Seef Mall and a short walk from the Ritz Carlton.

The overall atmosphere of the room we got is a great combination of getting everything you need.

When we arrived, the receptionist was arguing with me about the payment. They were asking me to authorize a payment while I was already paid on booking.com. After a minute of arguing, they said it's okay now (as if they weren't paying attention that my reservation is paid already). PS. They knew me immediately and said my full name when I told them that I had a reservation.

Large rooms with decent interior and reasonable breakfast menu. Very nice location in Seef near to the main malls.

1. Bathrooms drainage and Flush 2. There is a big window in the bathroom facing the Main Street, with the blinds unable to close completely, had to put a towel to cover the window. 3. Abundant parking available on the front of hotel as it was little difficult to access and find parking in Basement.

The front desk staff are excellent: professional, friendly and efficient. I was given complementary breakfasts which was a pleasant surprise. the breakfast has a good, quality buffet, with a variety of choices. Location of the hotel is excellent. Shower was very good: good pressure and hot water

My first night was in a room on the road side. Unfortunately, there was regular road noise into the early hours. I was able to move to the car park side the following day and there were no issues with noise. There were a few issues with the room which I passed on to reception at check out. TV not properly tuned, A/c not cooling, no hand towels or floor mats provided, drinking water of previous guest still in fridge, restaurant menu was old with out of date prices. I’ve stayed many times at the hotel, and these were the first negative issues I’ve experienced.

Staff are excellent. Very friendly, welcoming and efficient. A mixed selection of fresh and dried fruit was left in my room, which was very kind. The location is excellent: very quiet and close to Seef and City Centre Malls.

Water pressure in shower was poor. I did report the issue and an improvement was made, however, the following morning the pressure was again quite poor

it’s comfortable, clean, organized, great hospitality and staff. great dining options within the hotel and walking distance from everywhere around it. every time I come here I feel welcomed and taken care of. plenty of parking.

We tried the hotel to see what it was like. Close to Seef and some nice restaurants/ coffee shops/ eatery’s. Also a few small supermarkets around for small essentials

Very noisy neighborhood with cars making most of the noise. So no noise isolation from the street. Lounge had no smoke- free area…. That would have been nice.

The staff were soooo amazing when I checked in and out. They were very professional with a nice smile. Also Mr. Hamdy was very cooperating when I contacted him

The TV, I hope if the hotel try to add more channels like sports and movies rather than the usual MBCs channels.

- Location is good, malls are nearby (Seef mall, City center, Avenues) - Quit place and never heard noises. - Room was clean Special thanks to the employee Hamdy

I noticed that the room attendant not changing the towels after cleaning the room, even they provide us with 1 towel without replacing it for 2 days. I do recommend to renovate the lobby area with modern and simple design
