The hotel location is just perfect, everything is reachable by walking, good restaurants and cafés are nearby. The staff were friendly and helpful. Hotel is soo clean, they use cleaning detergents that semlls like lemon suger and green apple. Room had a coffee machine, Coffee & Co are also available for free in the reception.

The room and bathroom size were okay, yet there were no shelf or any space in the bathroom to put all personal things - like face cream. the furniture in the room were bigger than room size, like the mattress and the roll-chair, for two people the room was a bit small to move inside it.

Staff is super friendly, the room was decent, shower door closes properly (no flooding of the whole bathroom! Rare!), the location is fantastic, as the hotel name suggests, directly in the center.

Hotel lacks what many European hotels lack: no tissue paper (> contact lenses), no hand towels (since corona, still strange that hotels think I should dry my face with the same towel I used after washing hands..). Incentive of 5,- EUR coupon per day room is not cleaned, nice idea. That you can use the coupon only for sugary snacks and beverages, is lame. Why not team up with a bike rental service instead? Or let us use it towards the bill?

check in was very straightforward. The location was perfect - right in the centre of Ghent. The staff were friendly and informative. We were able to watch TV in Italian, which was a nice surprise. There were no tea and coffee facilities in the room, but in the lobby there was a coffee machine available which brewed a very nice cup. As we were travelling with our dog, it was nice to have her with us without any fuss

the room was a little cramped, but spotlessly clean and warm. the confirmation email arrived after we left on our journey, so we did not see the additional cost of 6euro for our dog. We also did not see the information about parking so there was some confusion about how to reach the public parking - The staff were helpful in telling us how to get to the parking

Great location, lovely staff, clean room. They have green energy policy where they offer 5 euro vouchers for the hotel if you refrain from getting room service each day when spending 3+ nights which I really liked, the beds were comfy, no more than a 5 min walk to the main square and approx 3 min walk to the tram stop. The shower awas fantastic, great water pressure.

For the price of the hotel the room was pretty small. It was ok for a couple for 3 nights but any longer and with more baggage and buying gifts ect the room would start to fill and become really cramped

The location of this hotel is perfect for visiting the sights. It's literally in the centre of things. It's not like any B&B hotel we've stayed in before, we had a super room, large, spacious and stylish. The shower room was very good too. We travelled in December and the heating was excellent. The staff were very kind to us, we didn't know about the emissions zone registration until we arrived and we had some problems getting the system to accept our information, especially where you put in a disabled parking permit number. The staff couldn't have been nicer when we asked for help and offered to do the registration for us but just at that moment an email arrived saying our information had been accepted. We picked Ghent because we hadn't been before and we were not disappointed, it's a fantastic city, lots to see and although we only had one day we really enjoyed it. It's on the list for a return visit. The car park is a few minutes walk away from the hotel and costs €20 for 24 hours. It felt very safe but be warned if you are travelling in a large car the parking spaces are truly tiny and the access ramps are equally narrow. Even the disabled bays are smaller than we've found in other places.

I think the hotel could tell you about the emissions zone at the time you book, which gives you time to gather all the documents you need for the registration before you leave home. In our case we were on our way back to the UK after 6 weeks away so knowing in advance what was required would have been handy! I did receive a message from the hotel on the day we left giving all the information we needed to register - much too late to avoid the fine. This needs to be done immediately on booking.

Location, location, location. This is the perfect place to stay - you walk out and you are in the middle of everything. The hotel is modern and clean. Luggage lockers available that you manage yourself. Very friendly and helpful staff. Free coffee and water in the reception area.

The rooms are very nice, but they are small and clothing storage limited. We spent very little time in our rooms so we didn’t really mind. Because the rooms are so small you see black marks on the white wall from the luggage. Nothing to worry about but if you expect luxury or boutique hotel this is not your choice.

The location was great. The staff was very friendly. We could check in before the check in time. The room was very comfortable.

There was no vegan breakfast option available, but the staff in the reception could recommend great places for vegan breakfast. Unfortunately we had a problem in both rooms we were renting. Only on the last day of the trip. The air conditioning in one of the bedrooms was leaking in the corridor from the ceiling. And there was a leak in the other bedroom bathroom, maybe the shower screen seal was broken and it was leaking water from the shower to under the sink. Not a big problem. We let the staff in the reception know to fix it for the future. No fridge in the bedroom.

Great hotel, right in the heart of Gent. Gent Sint Peters station itself is a good 30-minute walk away from the 'centre' of Gent, but you can easily access via a tram/bus, and there is a stop a few minutes walk from the hotel to get you there. Room was modern and clean, and bathroom was nice. We arrived a bit before 3pm, and were allowed to check in early by the friendly staff. There was also a free hot drinks machine downstairs with a filtered/fizzy water point too, which was handy for topping up when coming and going.

Really nothing, everything was great!

The location is perfect for visiting Gent, with the galleries and other main places to visit all close by. Good choice of restaurants and bars close as well. The room was a reasonable size and very clean. Parking was in a public multi-storey 150 metres away and cost 20 Euros per day, which is pretty good these days for a city centre. We had no trouble getting a space. Would stay again and will recommend it to friends.

Would have liked a fitness room to work off some of the Belgian chips and beer. Breakfast was ok but the choices were limited.
