Hotel Odeon

Hotel Odeon provided excellent value! The cost was more than reasonable; our room was clean, comfortable, quiet, spacious, and attractive; breakfast was plentiful; the wifi worked well. The location of the hotel provides good access by foot to points of interest in Plovdiv, and as a bonus, the hotel overlooks ancient ruins.

Check-in was terrible! Despite notifying Hotel Odeon of our approximate arrival time, it took 2 phone calls and a 30 minute wait for someone to show up at the reception to check us in. Despite this, there were enough positives about our stay that this didn't affect our overall satisfaction with our stay.

The hotel has a great location - easy to access by car and in close proximity on foot to all major sights. The suite was very spacious and stylish. The breakfast was very good, although not a buffet due to covid restrictions. There is no parking available on site but there is one available at a discounted rate nearby.

Nothing major to complain about. It's worth noting that the lift is very tiny, and the bathroom is also fairly small with poor ventillation.

The location, customer service, and hotel itself were absolutely outstanding, receiving a perfect 10/10 rating from me. I truly regret not having more time during my travels to extend my stay here. The view of the Odeon was simply breathtaking, and the warmth and kindness displayed by the staff touched my heart. Even with my early departure before breakfast hours, the staff went above and beyond by preparing a special takeaway sandwich just for me. My room was incredibly charming, surpassing all my expectations and more. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for an exceptional experience during their travels.

A well-run establishment, perfectly located, impeccably clean, cozy and quiet. The numerous oil paintings on the walls do honour to the artistic surroundings. The room was spacious, with high ceilings and wooden furniture, completely soundproof. The bathroom was small, but spotless and equipped with everything necessary. Great bath towels and sheets. Excellent breakfast, with limited choice, but tasty and well-thought. Friendly and efficient staff.

Parking is somewhat of a problem.

We stayed for only one night so we spent only a little time in the room, but it was enough to see that it had been recently renovated with high-quality materials and that no detail was left unattended. The staff were friendly and the location was great, next to Artnewscafe which is one of my favourites. Not to mention the hotel's own restaurant which I've visited on multiple occasions for lunches and dinners and have always been exceptionally served. The authentic Plovdiv spirit lives in this place.

The room we got was on the last floor and much of the ceiling was slanted, so the room felt a bit tight and claustrophobic even if it had a large ground area. There also wasn't much of a view, since the windows were small and close to the ground.

Excellent location, nice and unique view to the Odeon. High quality furniture, very comfortable big bed and very stylish interior design of the apartment, and the whole hotel. The breakfast was delicious with plenty to choose and yummy, freshly made fruit jams, served by a very professional and friendly lady. She was awesome, was easy communication. We totally enjoyed our stay and the way she looked after us.

This is a fantastic hotel in the heart of Plovdiv. A beautiful building, next to some of the Roman remains, and within walking distance to the pedestrian streets of the Old Town. Staff were friendly and attentive. My room was spectacular. Large, classy decor, very clean, air conditioning, balcony, super comfortable bed, powerful shower over bath... It was very good value for money as well, with breakfast included. Fabulous place.

Very central location but very quiet, comfortable room /romantic suite highly recommended/,lift /very rare in old buildings/, rich breakfast with homemade jams and very attentive staff and the cherry on the top one of the best restaurants in town /if not the best/. Plovdiv is my home town but after my mother's stroke I stay in hotels. Well from now on that will be Odeon. Thank you everyone there making our stay special. Vanya Roberts

Everything was perfect thanks

Location is great, within walking distance of the bus station and all the sites in Plovdiv. My room was lovely and the most comfortable bed I've slept in on my 2 week trip. Breakfast was good. Very quiet at night. Staff don't speak any English but we're really helpful. Bathroom is small but I don't mind that, as there was plenty of hot water.

The only problem was that I could hear the people in the next door room talking until late, so the internal sound proofing is not great.

Hotel Odeon is up there with the best budget hotels world wide. The location and decoration are superb. The soundproofing is amazing, the breakfast in generous, the bed in the suite was huge, and Irena the owner is a kind and friendly person. In the hot summer the air-conditioning was the best we experienced in Bulgaria.
