Sambor Village Hotel

The whole experience was great. The place had real charm. Using an old wooden building on stilts as the reception and main eating area added to the charm. The hotel was like an oasis and retreat within a rural setting. Coming back to a relaxing pool made it a real treat after being out all day. The breakfast was fantastic - so tasty, healthy and with so many options. The staff were so friendly, helpful and attentive - and were so keen to make our experience such a pleasant one.

There was nothing we could fault. The place appears to be so well maintained, clean and tidy. The staff and the setting were the key ingredients to such a wonderful stay. Just keep on doing what you've been doing!

I stopped off here for two nights on my way from Siem Reap to Phnom Penh. It was the perfect choice of location for relaxing after so much sight-seeing in Siem Reap. Each bedroom is its own little bungalow; absolutely adorable. Check-in was smooth and I experienced the staff as friendly and competent. The whole place has a really relaxed vibe. The bed was incredibly comfortable. Breakfast was served up very fast but there was no compromise on the flavour - beautiful. The same for the dinner I had on one of the evenings. It’s in a great location to visit some of the 6th Century temples; maybe a one hour drive. I didn’t use the free bicycles that were provided as I just wanted to relax but it’s a great option. I had no issue with the WiFi.

The water in the shower wasn’t hot one of the mornings but it was fine the next day.

its just a fantastic place , quiet , by the river , away from the noisy main road. the chef is cooking a very healthy and good khmer cuisine . all the staff is very gentle and attentionned , pro and cherish on the cake the manager Chanthy is on top of a super nice and qualified person , a charming lady that will help you out finding good plans for the continuation of your trip . in short , a nice place to rest and visit the surrounding especially Sambor Prei Kuk .

The hotel is amazing, very spacious and a lovely chic feel. What made it even better though was the staff. When we were accidentally dropped off in the completely wrong place by our bus driver, the hotel staff went above and beyond in making sure we got to the hotel safely, and helped us in contacting a driver to come pick us up. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and really made our stay here.

Lovely peaceful setting surrounded by nature. Very friendly helpful staff and excellent dinner. Pool was a bonus. Do explore the surrounding area and visit the Santis silk farm and the beautiful boat temple. The staff will order a tuktuk.

There could have been slightly more choice at breakfast, otherwise all great.

I think for 60 a night its a bit overprized, the pool could be better maintained as well as its surrounding, the bungalow is connect with another one so you can hear a lot from the other room, could provide slippers and ropes in the rooms

Garden of paradise throughout the property with individual bungalows for rooms. There so many fruit trees and beautiful scented flowers blooming everywhere. The main house where we had our breakfast was a traditional Khmer house next to the swimming pool. The staff were well trained. The breakfast was divine.

If there was a bathtub instead of a shower it would have been perfect

Bungalows are located amidst a wonderful tropical garden together with a spacious pool. Hotel offers tasty food. They organize tours and transport and really care that it works out as planned. You can use their good bikes. And they are eco friendly. The absolute highlight is the staff - manager and team. They are the most authentic, friendly and supportive people I have met in a hotel so far!!!

A little paradise just between Siem Reap and Phnon Penh. We enjoyed the atmosphere, the pool and the good food. There are bicycles in all sizes to go around the local villages and along the river. Great place just to relax for a few days. Staff was super nice and helpful.

The property is beautifully maintained and rooms are in individual bungalows with a porch. The on site restaurant has excellent food. A big bonus we’re the free bikes. Staff were great and they were able to arrange transport to nearby as well as remote locations. Also there is a lovely pool.
