Medee Resort

The great location of the hotel on a beautiful beach made up for all the shortcomings of the hotel. First of all, I was stressed about this hotel based on the reviews, but everyone forms their own opinion. We spent two weeks on the island and I enjoyed my stay in Meed. Peace, comfort and silence were priceless. Yes, it is a simple hotel, but completely sufficient for a stay on the island. We went through all the resorts and decided that Medee was a great choice. We travel around Thailand often and we meet much worse hotels. This hotel is definitely not for families with children! which suited me. The pool is not necessary as there is a beautiful beach and you can swim in the sea even at low tide. It is necessary to use a scooter, but that is almost everywhere, as everyone wants to explore the island. The staff was super friendly and the hotel manager really tried to accommodate every client's request. I liked how they took care of the greenery and the garden. Also, which is not often seen in Thailand, but the beach was still cleaned every morning. Silence and peace are important to me on vacation, and I enjoyed that to the fullest in Meede for which I thank you and I believe that we will see each other again soon.

I would recommend changing the chairs and tables in the restaurant, the chairs on the terrace by the bungalows and the sunbeds on the beach. Overall, it's fine, but it needs a redesign! However, it is definitely necessary to add shelves for storing clothes in the rooms. Breakfast was sufficient for me personally, but I believe that it would not be enough for someone. Yogurt was missing….

Very nice and helpful staff, nice, quiet and peaceful location. Home made, Thai food was fresh, tasty and reach in ingredients. Bungalows, toilets and beds were clean. I would recommend Me Dee resorts for other visitors.

Missing swimming pool, especially during rainy season, when really big waves are not allowing children to play water in the sea, swimming pool would be fantastic alternative to spend free time.

The private beach was stunning. The rooms were lovely and spacious, very private. Staff were great, although they were a bit understaffed they tried there best and were always polite and happy to help.

Service was slow but the food and drinks were great when they came!

The location is very good, the beach is quite long and beautiful, and you can see a beautiful sunset every day! Every day has different meals all delicious! The staff are very patient and responsible, always smiling, and are in a good mood every day here! For me this is a full-score resort hotel, compared with this price, is really, very, very, very, very, very good!!! It's very quiet and comfortable place . I'll go again!

The cleaning and management of the beach needs to be strengthened.

very welcoming and helpful staff. it’s right on one of the most beautiful beaches on the island. it’s quiet and calm. you get to enjoy sunsets and very good breakfast with sea view. they helped us with renting a motorbike which was in good condition (that was third one on this island). rooms are in very good condition, clean, and daily cleand. on the beach you can also snorkel there are few rocks where you can find fishes.

Good location. They rent good motor bikes at normal price. The beach especially at sunset is spectacular.

Breakfast was very very poor but coffee ok. Need some wardrobe or a hanger in the room. You can only open the suitcase on the floor. For long stay not comfortable.

Excellent location directly at a beautiful clean and calm beach with all necessities (ATM, Restaurants, Shops, Beach-Massage, Hospital, etc.) nearby. Very friendly and caring stuff too! Kayaks free of charge. We extended two times :)

Difficult to mention anything here. Maybe: It would be nice to have free drinking water instead of always having to buy bottled plastic water.

The location was perfect. The rooms were new and clean as can be. The staff did everything they could to make us comfortable. The facilities were just what we wanted. It was a great stay and we'd recommend the place to anyone looking to visit Koh Kut.

Everything is good! And the location is excellent. The resort is comfortable, the food is good and the staff is so nice. They did everything to make our stay great! We will go to Medee again!
