Sarai Resort & Spa

This was a good location just 10 mins walk from the hustle and bustle so nice and quiet. The standard of service at the hotel was exceptional and staff were so friendly and willing to please. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Loved the ‘turn down’ service with cake delivery each evening. The pool area is stunning and immaculate. Breakfast was good. The complimentary foot massage was wonderful. .

Pool git very shady - no sun after 3pm - just personal preference. The sun Ed’s are set around the edge of the pool in about 10cm of water. I was afraid I might drop my phone or book into it. But it was nice and cooling too.

This place is absolutely amazing, we stayed there over new years and the whole stay was great. The room overlooked a lovely courtyard pool and had a fantastic window seat with comfy bed and sizable space. The staff were super friendly and welcomed us with a free 30min massage of our choice. The place has such a nice easy going vibe and the breakfast was great. It's a 10min walk to the centre while being far enough away from the hub-bub of it. I wish we stayed longer and will definitely be back.

If you are a type to sleep in you may be awakened by the noise of cleaning rooms in the corridor around 9.30, but even though it is just a bit of background rolling carts etc. Some American Karen was complaining to the staff about noise from the town on new years night but that was just a demonstration of intolerant ignorance because the city was celebrating!

All the staff were very helpful and friendly. Always here to assist the guests and go extra mile to find information you need. Anna is very caring and helpful, helping us with booking restaurants to other recommendations. Peter also is a very good person, make the guests very comfortable during our tour, he has been proactive especially in this hot weather, always keeping water bottles and cold towel to serve us after a being in a tour under the burning sun. In general, all staff are very polite. Darren and steven also were also ready to advise us, they were always nearby paying attention to our needs. In short, i was amazed by the personalised service these people provide

Room was fantastic, great comfy stay with good aircon as well. Breakfast was fantastic, good choice of both SE Asian and Western foods, and buffet offered a good selection too - they offer breakfast boxes for collection as well should you be going out early for temple tours etc, which was great for us. Pool is lovely, great service from the bar when lounging around. Nice and quiet, away from the hustle and bustle of Pub Street, but also close enough to walk in (10/15minsm or a few minutes in a tuk tuk). Very helpful staff and a great stay!

It is a beautiful boutique hotel. Lovely pool area which was very relaxing. I had a beautiful complementary massage at the day spa. Our room was stunning with a beautiful view over the pool. All staff were lovely and very accommodating. The location was very convenient - a walk or short tuk tuk ride to Pub street and markets. It was an all round wonderful stay. Highly recommend!

Only fault we’re the single beds. The mattresses were very hard and uncomfortable. Our king size bed was very comfortable so the single beds were disappointing.

They upgraded us to a room that just got built as part of the hotel. It's very beautiful! The bed was also very comfortable. I drove there, so the parking was convenient, and it's just 5min drive to Pub Street and the downtown area.

I feel that besides the security guards, staff was not well trained on receiving guests during holiday seasons. Perhaps the management could provide more incentives for them, if they haven't already, as I'm sure they also want to enjoy year end parties like the rest of us.

A lovely boutique stay in a great location. The aesthetics of this place are beyond pleasing. You’ll only be a short walk or an even shorter $1 tuk-tuk ride away from the hustle and bustle of Pub Street and surrounding bars and restaurants. Easily the best and most memorable aspect of our stay here was the warmth and care extended to us by the staff. Right from the time we checked in and till the time we were dropped off to the airport, they took care of all our needs like pros. The management also threw in a free 45 minute massage and it made our entire trip so much more memorable. The restaurant manager took very special care to ensure that we were served 100% vegetarian food that was lip-smacking. The bartender whips up a lovely Singapore Sling! Our guest relations manager, Anna, and her team were ever-smiling and attentive. They even stayed back later than their shift to tend to my friend who had fainted due to heat exhaustion during out night out.

ABSOLUTELY NOTHING

The hotel is very nice aesthetically and meets the pictures. All the rooms look out onto the pool. The location is on the more quiet side of the river - the beer street and commercial side of Siem Reap is on the othe side. However it's cheap to get a TukTuk anywhere- and you can order on Grab.

Room is a bit small to share with one other person, even in a twin situation. Some extra room would have been nice. Also at times the hotel ran out of things - like pool towels.

The staff were wonderful- extremely helpful. We were travelling with my daughter who has cerebral palsy and is in a wheelchair. Siem Riep is not very accessible but staff at Sarai were very helpful. They organised a loan wheelchair when airline lost her wheelchair. They organised a ramp for easier access to hotel

All of.it, the reception was lovely and had a lovely welcome. The pool was quiet and relaxing with shaded areas if it was too hot. We enjoyed the room as it was set up with all we needed, we didn't spend loads of time here. The restaurant for breakfast was a little busy but that's due to timings. Cocktails were tasty and good value.

Can't say there was anything. We would visit again.
