Super 8 by Wyndham Cochrane

The hotel is an older, better established place. The lobby has a tiled floor and comfortable sitting area. It is well apportioned with tourist information for those traveling. There is a laundry room with excellent counter space for sorting & folding your clothes. The hotel staff are exceptionally nice & informative. There are places to eat nearby and the hotel offers a nutritious free breakfast.

Cochrane is undergoing a significant restructuring of its highways & rail. It is beyond the control of the hotel but if you are patient you can get to it with ease. It’s tucked away from the construction activity so you won’t hear the noise of heavy machinery.

I’ve been to this hotel 3 times, the rooms are always clean, it’s a great location, mountains just out back. The breakfast is always amazing, and as my partner calls it the pancake printer is flawless. in early 2021 I lived her for a month, the staff had always been super friendly, super kind and very protective of privacy. My partner and I booked a jacuzzi suite in November and again, same staff but always do polite, and amazing. they did a lot for my in 2021 and my partner had been grateful for that so we decided to give them a Christmas gift, and when we came back this time around they had been the same, incredible and just the staff alone makes me want to come back there.

nice location , lots of nice little extras like lemon water & cookies in the lobby & chips & bottled water in the room . clean & Welcoming environment . Continental breakfast was great , lots to choose from especially if your on the go , selection had something for everyone & staff kept it full even when busy . Dog friendly & the fee was not obsessive … Thank you so much

there wasn’t a elevator… no big deal for us but may be for some : hot tub broke down so we couldn’t check it out but we will be back to try it out a different time

I like the location of this hotel. It was close to the places I needed to go. It was nice not to have to stay in Calgary. It was a large room. Close to several restaurants.

I didn't like that there was not an elevator. I had several large pieces of luggage and hauling them upstairs was not fun. There was also a lot of white dog hair on the carpet in our room. Not a huge deal as I have pets at home. I was just surprised by the amount of dog hair. Hopefully, the next people that stayed in the room had a clean room.

Staff accommodating my request for a laundry, since the laundry facilities were out of working order. Check-in staff was very friendly and able to help me with my request for dinner as well. Room was quiet, beds were good. Breakfast was better than expected for a Super 8. Parking is close to the front door.

Location is a bit hidden, but not hard to find. No elevators, but I was able to negotiate the stairs, I would just be aware this property doesn't have an elevator.

The breakfast options are very good and we were pleasently suprised by the options offered! The location was easy to find and for us worked out well as we were visiting friends and were very close to them.

One thing that was not great was listening to vacuuming for about 2 hours above us in the morning starting at about 10 am, it sounded like some one was wrestling with the thing and it took so long, also sounded like furniture was being moved. At night could hear a heavy footed person stomping around at time, think room was located below reception/staff area.

It is conveniently located, the staff are exceptionally friendly and accommodating, the rooms are clean, the beds comfortable, and the room is adequately stocked with towels, toiletries, and cups, and the breakfast is absolutely delicious. We look forward to returning to the Super 8 located in Cochrane AB..

The breakfast in the morning was great, fresh pancake machine was prime. The hotel was pretty darn quiet, didn't here anything and I am pretty sure the Hotel was fully booked when we were there for 3 nights. Very close to mountains and Calgary.

The Hot Tub and Steam room was very small, they must have built it in the basement as an after thought in an old Room. I did not Book the hotel for the amenities though.

The beds were comfortable Enjoyed the hot tub Liked that there was a fan in the room

Room.was not cleaned, especially when the price is 400+ for 2 nights could of had someone come in and tidy it

Breakfast was was excellent. They have lots of options for breakfast. We enjoyed muffins, cinnamon, coffees, juices and lot more.

There is nothing to share about bad.. everything is so clean and perfect.
