Days Inn by Wyndham Lamont

For a small rural town this accommodation far exceeded my expectations! The room was exceptionally clean, linens were like new and nicely displayed. Very comfortable bed. Very quiet, no hall or outside noise. The lady at the front desk was so friendly and helpful. This hotel makes an effort to accommodate those who come for day surgeries at the local hospital, and encourages the patients to come back to their hotel room to rest before traveling home; no extra charge for late checkout. Wonderful! Because of restrictions, the breakfast room was closed but a tasty meal was prepared and packaged, including french toast, bacon, juice. Would highly recommend this a great place to stay.

Location great as had to go to Lamont Hospital for procedure. Lots of outlets in room. Allowed early check in and late checkout was much appreciated! Staff were friendly and knowledgeable.

Bed and pillows lacked. Uncomfortable. Worst toilet paper I have ever had to use! Air conditioner extremely loud.

Very comfortable king room, clean, quiet; there were large fluffy towels, 3 puffy pillows, only one chair with a small desk; fridge did not freeze water. Great front desk staff, nice breakfast. Gondola restaurant was very nice, good food and cold beer.

If you’re going to Elk Island and want to stay away from the city, this is a great location. Otherwise, it is far from the next biggest city. The staff here were very nice and went out of their way to make our stay very enjoyable.

I would recommend that they change the pillows for new ones. The ones they have are almost flat from so much use. I requested two additional and they were pretty much the same, not comfortable, not fluffy pillows. No swimming pool

Shame the train line runs so close

Very welcoming hotel. Only a couple of blocks from the Hospital. They have a snack bar available 24 hrs a day. Also, they give extra check out time for no charge for surgery patients. Excellent room. Very clean. Amazing price! I highly recommend it for anyone going for surgery in Lamont Health Medical Centre.

There was nothing I didn't like.

The Hotel very clean and the women at the front desk gave us late check out. The breakfast was self serve but it was one of the best we have had during our stays at different hotels during the corona virus lockdown. We would defiantly stay their again .
