Western Budget Motel #1 & 2 Whitecourt

The staff were very friendly and accommodating and helped resolve a couple of issues quickly. The bed was comfortable, and the room was kept at a reasonable temperature using the AC. There were several selections for breakfast and even a couple of hot items, which surprised me, considering it was a continental breakfast. I would have like some cold water or juice, but I didn't ask, so that's on me. The rooms are a good size. We've stayed at WB hotels several times over the years with our children when theynwere younger, and it seems not a lot has changed, but it's good value for a good rest.

The first room we were in had a couple missed spots as far as cleaning, and there was a crack in the bathtub, but we were immediately given a new room, so we were satisfied. The water in our room never got cold at all, but they're looking into that. Thankfully, I had packed water bottles.

Loved the over sized king bed as well as the big fridge/freezer !! Staff were amazing !!!

Ice machine was broken.

The jacuzzi tub was one of the best I have ever used in a hotel room, and we often go to hotels! Great value for this hotel!

Being diabetic, I would have liked a protein in the continental breakfast even if it was just hard-boiled eggs, and yogurt or something like that. They mostly just had pastries which I am sure are good, but some more healthy options would have been nice.

I don’t like that I have to drive to whitecourt to stay in the jet tub room. that I can’t rent the one in Grande Prairie because I’m not a traveller what’s wrong with my money. I will say Theo I have really enjoyed both times I’ve stayed in your whitecourt motel. staff was great rooms are clean and love the Tub!!!

The room was very big, it was clean and had a beautiful gas fire place. The staff were super nice and friendly.

Being a person who smokes it was disappointing we couldn't have been on the main floor to make it easier to get in and out throughout our stay. But the front desk lady was super helpful, and kept us as close to the outside door as possible.

We loved the jacuzzi tub with the soft lighting and the bed was very comfortable.

Don't agree with the covid restrictions. Masks are proven not to work and only inhibit proper oxygenation of our blood. All restrictions should be eliminated and we should stop being afraid to socialize with one another.

Great Jacuzzi tub!! Amazing front desk staff!! And super affordable!!

It is a little outdated, carpets are pretty old-fashioned but still in good condition. Had to request the tub be cleaned properly but the front desk lady came and did an amazing job herself!

The jacuzzi suite is GORGEOUS!

There was a small misunderstanding and the wrong room was booked. However, as soon as i brought it to the attending of the front desk we were promptly moved to the room we had initially asked for

Very welcoming and clean. Excellent value for what we got. The manager was excellent, staff was friendly, and I'm definitely going back.

The only reason I docked on cleaning is because our bathtub was forgotten when the room was cleaned. BUT the manager actually insisted on cleaning it herself. That and the pool was down, but... covid.

Jacuzzi

must have been a cleaning solution, but a caustic smell as you entered the room. Very understandable if it is a cleaning solution needed to keep the room disinfected during Covid.
