Clarion Hotel & Conference Centre

I loved the front desk staff that greeted me. Unfortunately, I did not get his name but he was so excited that we were there. They way he welcome me and my family was very sincere. He made me feel I booked at the right place. In the morning I called front desk to ask for an hour later check out and the gentleman that answered was pleasant on the phone and was happy to accommodate us. And during check out he was on point. He was dealing with a check out before me, helped me and assisted someone on the phone all within minutes without making me feel rushed out.

The entrance to and reception area was not very impressive. Felt more like a motel reception. But that was minimized moments after we were received such a warm sincere greeting from the gentleman at the front desk.

Our rooms were clean, easy to get to . The staff - both front desk and housekeeping were friendly and competent. Parking was easy and always available. It was nice having hot water in the lobby and being able to walk indoors to the White Spot on site.

We asked for 3 rooms close to each other and had 2 on one floor, the 3rd 2 floors down. The restaurant was closed Saturday for a private function but we had no advance notification of that.

Hotel was very clean. Rooms are newer and up to date furnishing. Has a white spot in the hotel and you get a discount on dinner and breakfast which was nice:) overall good hotel.

The only thing I didn’t like is it smells outside of the hotel like cow poop and you can kinda smell it at times in the room. But wouldn’t stop me staying there again.

The staff were great! Very helpful and accommodating! The cot we requested was not in our room when we arrived. The front desk agent had it to us within 5 minute with extra towels and water, so thoughtful thinking ahead!! Well done!

If I had to pick something i guess the highway noise, but what do you do.

Clean. Pillows were comfy, staff was very pleasant, hot tub was good 🙂

Bed could have been a little softer, and a better breakfast. You only get a 25% card off white spot.. but is definitely one of the better places in Abbotsford to stay.

Right off the bat, the staff was super friendly and made me feel at ease right away. It was CLEAN and easily accessible plenty of parking. Housekeeping was always prompt with our requests and very respectful of social distancing. I wish I could remember the wonderful ladies name, she was training with Jim when I checked and they both were fantastic!

It wasn’t a problem for me, but the south side of the hotel is right on the highway and the noise may be a problem for some people.

I loved the location and that the pool was available for use.

One of the queen bed in our suit 212 creaked like crazy with any movement, so night time wasn't as peaceful. Also early into the day I had asked if I would be able to book the pool twice in one day, I was told that if it wasn't busy at night it wouldn't be a problem. When it was 9:30pm I went to ask if there was room available to book the pool, we were told no one had booked it for end of night and when we told our room number the older man said we couldn't because we had already been to the pool earlier that day. I told him what the earlier staff had said and he proceeded to say it didn't matter and he wasn't going to book us in. We left to our room as i didn't wanna bother causing problems.

The pool was awesome and the showers had good pressure. the AC and room fan worked well, the fan stays constantly on so you're not woken up every 20 minutes.

The beds were incredibly hard and springy. It was difficult to get comfortable.

I love the front desk who always greet us friendly, even we arrived late at night at 11.30 pm. He greeted us with big smile and explained everything very anthusiasm. Also every morning they always greet us. It was amazing. The room was awesome, clean, and spacious. Housekeeping did a great job. Everytime we come back to the room, we found a clean and neat bed. Only once, the last night when we back to our room, we could not find the floor mat in the bathroom. Overall I have a great staying in this hotel!

Well, the hotel is really great and comfortable!! Room very large and very clean!! Also the stuff in the room available breakfast are really really good! Next time in Abbotsford, Clarion for sure

At the desk, during our check in at 08.20 pm I found not so much support.. I’d appreciate much more kindness and help , considering that we are foreign tourists from Italy…( first time that this unpleasant experience happened in Canada, considering we’ve been her in BC several times for 3 years ..)
