Ramada by Wyndham Kelowna Hotel & Conference Center

When I booked this hotel, I didn't realize it had a swimming pool, which my daughter absolutely loves. Personally, I really appreciate the hotel's location – it's basically at the center of the places I need to visit, making transportation extremely convenient. Moreover, there are several major supermarkets nearby, including Superstore, Walmart, and Save-on-Foods, so there's more than enough shopping options.

To be honest, at this price point, it's hard for me to dislike anything about this hotel. But if I had to nitpick, it would be that the hotel seems to have been around for a while, so the items in the room appear a bit dated. Of course, they are all sufficiently clean, just showing a bit signs of wear and tear.

Absolutely loved how bright and open concept the room was! Had two exit doors one to hallway and the other one directly outside great for letting the dogs go out for a pee and made unloading and loading our luggage quite easy. Exceptionally clean the front desk staff were also absolutely phenomenal at being warm and welcoming and answering any questions we had. Originally from Kelowna but everytime we visit for leisure, medical or business this is the go to hotel! Love that check in is noon. And that they offer pool, hot tub and fitness center!

The staff was terrific. It's close to several dining establishments. The bed was comfortable and the room was a good size.

The entire hotel is a little shabby, run down, and needs updating. The room had a lot of stains on the carpet, and needs a deep cleaning. The electrical hubs on the desk didn't work properly, and the outlet it was plugged into had a receptacle that didn't work. The fridge made an odd gurgling sound, so I had to unplug it at night. And the handle on the top drawer of the dresser fell off.

Room was clean and comfortable. We had a pet-friendly room, and were pleasantly surprised that we didn't have to pay an additional "pet fee" like so many other hotels (price was built in to room rate). Nice pool and workout facilities. We appreciated the little added touches like 2 full-sized Dasani water bottles in the room, and Google Chrome cast connected to the TV for watching a movie from our phone.

Not much to say here - we faced a busy street in Kelowna so heard quite a bit of traffic noise, but just turned on the fan / ac throughout the night to drown it out.

Our flight was diverted to the USA and we only had the room booked for one night on inverted, non-cancellation non refundable booking, however booking.com and the hotel were very responsive and amazing and allowed us to change our booking until the next night with no extra charges. Really made our trip less stressful after being diverted to another country and finally making it to our destination 24 hours later. I would book here again for that reason alone but I like the hotel also, internally the hotel is a bit older but the rooms were great, and the showers were really good. We chose this location so we could do a quick shopping trip across the road before we drove to our final destination. I also love that the pub next door was accessible from the hotel internally and we had a great meal there.

We liked the second room we were moved to. It was a nice large room with close access to the elevator and parking.

The first room we were given was on the ground floor. While not a pet friendly room, the people in the room next door did have a pet dog and we could hear the dog whining through the paper thin walls. So we had to complain to management and were given a better room in another wing of the hotel.

I really like the close proximity to the farmers market and down town. The room was large and close to the elevator and was available soon as I checked in.

For the price, I had hoped for an included breakfast, however that was not presented as an option. I was a bit disappointed at the hot tub jets not working and some simple maintenance issues like flickering lights and tights door jambs.

I liked the amenities- I didn’t try the pool or hottub but they looked nice. It was my first time in a hotel gym, it was adequate for getting a sweat on and I liked the 19 individual towels to sanitize with while being eco-friendly! I LOVED the New York Suite- fire place was a pleasant surprise- the SPA TUB is the reason I didn’t get to the hottub (It was better). Also,really likes the fancy robes & they were comfy! For checkout I had a really lovely woman who was genuinely nice to talk to and eased what could be a nervous social interaction for some. Thanks Ramada! Can’t wait to try out the other themed suites!

Bathrooms and room itself were really clean, loved the rooms location in the building as it wasn't right along the highway so we could open up our blinds to a nice view to bring in even more light :) surprisingly nice and quiet and was able to get a great nights rest for the building being along the highway great location in the heart of Kelowna beds are a little bit more on the stiffer side though

Good location for access to hospital and other areas of town. Enjoyed being on bottom floor and access to outside from room.

The air conditioner is noisy and does need changing out. I talked to staff and they said that they are slowly changing them out. Your repairman was off with medical reasons. We wanted the room straightened up but housekeeping didn't get into our room.
