Gold Pan Motel

Spent the night last night at the Gold Pan Motel in Quesnel. Honestly, I LOVE little dives like this. I am almost always impressed with the care that they put into their establishments. And this one definitely did not disappoint. It was adorable! And so clean! And really reasonable as far as price goes. Oh! And it had the deeeeeepest tub!!! I'll definitely keep this one in mind for future trips. 🥰

My only complaint is that the mattress was a touch too soft for me, but thats just a personal preference. My boyfriend loved the beds and slept like a baby.

Comfortable beds. Bathroom is clean and bright. The location is adjacent to the highway, so I was concerned about noise but it was quiet in the room and we had a peaceful sleep. Mini-fridge came in handy to keep our snacks and beverages cold. The gentleman at the front desk was friendly and helpful. We had a very enjoyable stay and will definitely stay here again when passing through Quesnel.

The only negative is the wood furniture is a bit dated, but who cares about that?! We’d rather enjoy the superb value for the money.

This is such a great spot to stay in Quesnel! Our room was large, had kitchen facilities, great owners and we will happily stay here again. It's an easy walk to downtown and all that Quesnel has to offer. It's a bit noisy as it's right on the main highway, but it's worth it due to it's convenient location.

Comfortable beds, clean rooms. Location was great, just off the main road and easy to find. No problem arriving late.

Parking was a bit tricky, but managed to find a space. Main issue was a fridge that leaked water onto the floor overnight and soaked my son's coat and jeans (agree, he shouldn't have left them on the floor...but he didn't expect them to end up in a puddle).

Our stay at the Gold Pan motel was excellent. We arrived by motorcycle and received the room we had requested. The room was very clean, the bed very comfortable, the staff excellent! It is obvious the room/motel has been upgraded!

The motel is close to a busy highway and if you are bothered by traffic noise , that may be an issue. It didn't bother us at all and we had an excellent sleep!

Didn't have breakfast, but made use of fridge coffee pot and microwave. We were in town for a wedding and the accommodations were good for our requirements - clean, quiet, comfortable and I might add friendly staff.

Real close to town but not right in the town

Could have had a few more sugar packs, but in all fairness there were 6,we would have liked 8 for 4 cups, and if someone is going to complain about that it ain't going to be me. I could have asked for more I'm just trying to fill in this box, it was all good

The motel was in a great area that was easy to access with lots of parking. The rooms were spacious and had good tempature control. The rooms were also very clean and had great bathrooms.

The rooms could be better sound proofed. You could faintly hear people talk outside and occasionally hear vehicles but it wasn't terrible. The beds could be a bit better but was good enough.

Air Conditioning drowning sounds, comfortable bed and pillows great! Reasonable price. Love that there’s no carpet.

I don’t like the blankets and bed spreads. Duvet with removable cover is better

Excellent young couple have taken on this property and did renos to bring the Gold Pan Motel into the 21st century! Good work guys and all the best in the future! We'll certainly stay again on our next trip to Quesnel.
