When we checked in on Aug. 19 the front desk attendant (I think his name was "Harry") was super friendly and helpful. Great job!

The location is a bit noisy near the train tracks. We used ear-plugs combined together with a white noise app on our phone to hide some of this train noise. We put our phones (with a white noise app running) near our heads when we were sleeping to maximize the cancellation of the train noise. This worked fairly well. You can experiment with different types of white noise sound effects on these apps to find the sound efffect that best hides the particular noise that you are bothered by.

Good location and very close to Mt Revelstoke--15 min drive. The town shuttle for Revelstoke stops at the hotel, but we ended up driving for convenience. Breakfast was good with some variety. Appreciated the king suite room size and cleanliness. The rooms were modern and liked there was a fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Bed and sofa were both comfortable. Also enjoyed the TV's streaming access because we spent most nights in with take-out food and watching movies after hitting it hard with Mt Revy pow days. Free cookies at the reception desk after being on the slopes were a nice treat. Definitely recommend staying here.

They don't service the rooms unless you ask, and we should have, because the small little garbage cans in the room aren't large enough for more than a couple days' worth of stay. The hot tubs can get crowded in the afternoon, but this is expected in the winter after the slopes. Wished they had oat milk as a milk alternative, but that's just me being picky with a sensitive stomach. =)

The rooms were a good size and comfortable, good size fridge, microwave. Fantastic hot tub. Looked forward to soaking appre skiing every night. Very friendly staff at the front desk and in the hotel- especially Harry. Breakfast was great. Guest laundry also handy. Beds were super comfy. Snack food, hot water and cafe always available. Cookies every day at the front desk

It is very close to the train tracks. It can be noisy if you are on that side of the hotel. When you book, ask for the opposite side. When the built the hotel I think they did a pretty good job to handle the noise. I wear earplugs every night so I did ok. But if you are a very light sleeper this may be a problem. The trains run very early in the morning. And not sure why breakfast starts at 7 am on weekends. 6:30 would have been better especially on a powder day.

The hotel had a beautiful view and was clean and comfortable.

There were some errors - we booked two rooms, one was great, and the other was not what we thought we were getting. They had to move us to a room without a view in order to get the bathtub I requested when I booked, and they charged me twice in error. They were very kind and efficient in returning my funds that they charged in error.

bed pillows too small we requested quiet side room..and instead the train was loud and going by right by the room..so not quiet morning breakfast coffee cup was flimsy and almost melted a bit with very hot coffee causing spillage :(

The hotel was new and everything was clean. I would’ve liked clean towels and my bed made between days.

I don’t have the greatest hearing and I found it very difficult to understand some of the hotel staff at the front desk. With a little sign language this was easily remedied

the room was very new and comfortable, more like a 5 starts hotel. the bathroom was also great with a fantastic shower.

it was very close to the railways. if you do not have earplugs your sleep can be interrupted, with them you could hear anything. breakfast was served in plastic things, there was plastic everywhere! cups, plates, forks, knives, food wrap in everything… these things are nowadays not acceptable for the environment and the quality on the experience.

The hotel is quite new, so everything looks pretty nice. The room was very clean and staff very friendly. Breakfast was almost great... For a Canadian hotel (waffles, brownies, scrambled egg, bacon, bread etc).

The hotel is located between highway and train path and passing trains make really loud noise. Ear plugs might be required.

We stayed at the Fairfield for one night only and had to leave early. The room was very comfortable. We had a large bed, nice linen, a/c, and darkening curtain. It was very quiet and extremely clean (bathroom included).

The location is close to the highway but required us to drive to town where we had dinner. There is no decent restaurant within walking distance.

The room was clean and comfortable. Having breakfasts as part of the room package was ideal. Close to fast food places, gas stations and the downtown. Easy access to the main highway to trails, waterfalls, Mount Revelstoke and the amazing dam! Staff are very helpful and courteous. Overall a very nice hotel.

I'll be sure to return even though the train tracks are close by with what seemed constant movement of trains through the night. The noise would wake me but it became "white noise" after awhile.
