Best Western Plus Tin Wis Resort

The ocean view was fantastic. The king sized bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was a great way to start our day , enjoyed sitting out on our balcony overlooking Mackenzie beach which is beautiful. This was my first time in Tofino and I will definately be returning.

After checkout I received an emailed receipt for review, which was incorrect. Upon check in I signed the paperwork which had the proper booking amount on it and this payment was processed on my credit card that day for our 3 nights stay. However after I checked out and upon receiving the emailed invoice for my review I noticed I had been charged an additional almost $300. I contacted the resort directly to clarify this. The staff was very apologetic and said their was a computer error and their system did not put in the Booking.com pricing which I had booked under. The extra monies was refunded to my credit card.

our bed was extremely comfortable, and even though we were on the ground floor our view was incredible (photo attached). It was nice to be able to just walk out of our room and down to the beach. breakfast was good - real potatoes, meat and eggs.

the coffee in the room is terrible (van houtte). if you have a keurig at home or you are a coffee drinker i would suggest bringing your own pods! alternatively Tofitian cafe is right down the road for a good cup of java! we were in the building the farthest away from the hot tub, so that was a bummer, but definitely wouldn't deter me from staying here again. i wish the ground floor rooms had sheers as well as blackout curtains...having to close the curtains all the way for privacy was a bit of a bummer only because we couldn't get enough of the view!

Staff were good especially the breakfast lady with great service. Room and bathroom were clean, beds and pillows comfortable. Lots of electrical outlets and great lighting. Balcony with oceanview; lovely. Beach really close. Breakfast included. Room also have microwave, fridge teapot, coffeemaker, toaster, real mugs and glasses. Facility have a hot tub and a fitness room. Large bbq available, firepits, a small playground and tables. You can also have a fire on the beach. Overall, very pleased and enjoyed our stay.

No bathtub, only shower in room. Hot tub was always too full of people constantly.

Very comfortable room with kitchenette and covered balcony. Easy access to the beach from our building. Property is kept very clean and well cared for paths to walk on. the maintenance and housekeeping staff were very friendly and helpful. The young lady in the breakfast room was very pleasant and welcoming. Easy walking to and along the beach.

There wasn’t really anything to dislike about the property. Our bed was very comfortable and didn’t notice any noise from rooms next door.

Beds were the most comfortable bed we've ever slept in. The view was incredible, right on the beach. Can't loose with hot continental breakfast. The staff were absolultely polite and accomodating. Service is amazing. Hot tub and gym area were very clean; laundry was safe and accessible. It is definitely a 'plus' resort.

We did get an exceptional rate using booking.com though I think the reason why was the particular location of the room. It was right on the corner of a high traffic area. Totally understandable seeing as we had a pet that needed floor access, however as a couple wasn't very romantic in the sense that anyone walking by could and did see in our room - couldn't take advantage of the view as much as there was a playground right in front so constantly had the curtains closed. But all in all you don't go to the island to hide in your room. Excellent overall, the comfort of the beds made up for the room location.

Near the ocean, lovely dining room for Breakfast, Pet accommodation for our dog 🐕 ❤️ And all the amenities we needed in our room. It snowed a lot on 29th, but felt safe as walk ways were not slippery as the put salt down and roadway in/out was plowed. Loved having ice machine near our room, but sound proof 😃

Storm blew the power out, But within about two minutes the generator kicked in and we were happy for the power coming back on, 😊 for the t.v. and stove for cooking 🍳 our supper. Which we were prepared for.

I was really impressed. The room was comfortable and the pillows were amazing. The views were stunning. I couldn't figure out how to work the AC so I am not sure they can be controlled by each room but it was cool enough at night with a fan.

Just the AC - I like to crank it to be super cold at night. It was May so still got a nice ocean breeze leaving the window open and with the fan on, but in an ideal world I would have cranked the AC to like 64 at night.

The rooms have been upgraded since I last stayed many years ago and are brighter, cleaner, and more contemporary now. the view was great from our pet friendly room. I do wish there was a little more counter space for the kitchenette, but we do bring an excessive amount of stuff with us, so that could be a personal preference. The breakfast was much better than expected with an alternating selection of hot items as well as the typical continental items. fantastic location with the beach right there, fire pits, BBQ area and picnic tables.

I hated that my own dog barked at everyone that walked past and I probably annoyed everyone LOL

The view from our room made the price totally worth it. I was on a holiday with my 80 year old mother who has mobility issues (walks with a cane or walking poles). This was the perfect location for us. Beach access and walkability was no issue for my mother. We spent almost all our waking hours either walking and exploring on the beach or viewing it from our room. It was the highlight of our week long trip around the island.

I was a bit disappointed in the breakfast. The hot items were good, omelettes, sausages, french toast, etc. However the cold items were underwhelming. At this price point I would expect better quality. There were muffins (in cellophane), bread (generic grocery store style) for toast, yogurt machine with vanilla yogurt ( no flavour or plain option), the berries were either still frozen or empty, Kellogg granola bars. I was expecting more locally sourced items, maybe from a local bakery or farmers market.

Breakfast options were delicious and lots to choose from.Coffee great. Beds super comfortable , very quiet rooms.

Really wish the restaurant was reopened. When it’s raining and you don’t have a car Limited as to where you can eat near by Also every room does have ocean views but One block is offset.So you have to look over the balcony to see west for ocean and sunset.Be sure to ask for room On the west side looking straight out at the ocean. Best views .
