The location was a little sketchy ,and across the street from the train station ,however did not hear the Train .Breakfast was ok ,mostly frozen items ,only one microwave ,that was ok for us ,we were the only ones there for breakfast ,but if more families came ,one would have to wait a long time. .It took a little more time to warm the frozen food.could have Bananas for fruit.Have the pancake machine working.

Have a security employee at night , just a little scary people around the bar door ,I’m not sure if the bar Was opened ,

We stayed at this property last year ,room was better ,this time we stayed #7 ,they had the coffee stand in the closet ,it took half of the closet,there was no luggage stand or no chair to put your luggage ,I had to use the corner of the bed .my son used the floor. They had a tv cabinet for a piece of furniture and put the microwave on the bottom shelf ,had to squat on the floor in order to use it ,so inconvenient.There was no menu for using the phone ,so didn’t know how to call them ,other then walking to the office. They did not tell us that we had to request maid serve if we wanted it , so our room was not cleaned, until the second day.

There was no breakfast. I went across the highway to the Timberline Restaurant and the breakfast there was excellent. The place was full of locals. Breakfast was $7.65 and you paid extra for coffee. They also had plenty of parking and also picnic tables if you wanted to sit outside. I liked the electronic door locks. It's a very quiet location and far from the maddening crowd. It was private.

A reduced rate for Canadian Forces Veterans and/or Seniors ... that would have been nice. But it was the same price for everyone with that type of room.

Very clean. Excellent price. Shower had wonderful pressure. Friendly front desk staff. Room had all the needed basics, just ambiance and mattress are needing improvement.

The mattress was rather uncomfortable. The room was clean, but I could feel the springs. The room had been repainted, but updating may be needed in order to feel comfortable. The bright white everywhere was a little too much. Bathroom fan was quite loud and noisy and when it came on automatically during my shower, it scared the heck out of me!

Our room was exceptionally clean. Some new updates since I've last seen this motel. We had a problem with the TV which was quickly resolved. Nice and quiet. Thank you!

My only suggestion is 4 pillows rather than only 2 on the bed. But no big deal...would definitely book again!

Convenient and quiet location. Keyless entry. Microwave, frig, toaster supplied. Great parking. Close to restaurants. Staff was very accommodating. Sheets smelled great!

The rooms look tired, but in no way affected our stay. The price was fair for what we got, and truly, we lacked nothing.

Plug-ins are sparse, we always pack an extension cord. Expanders for outlets would be helpful. Bathroom door sticks, probably an easy fix if shaved down a bit. (Noisy to open /close at night).

Nice quiet location close to all amenities.

It is an aging property, so if you can overlook that it is actually quite a hidden gem in Swan River.

Very cute western theme, very homely feel. Lovely little picnic area outside. Not a lot of highway noise.

The walls are thinner so you can hear your neighbors. Would be great to have a couple of extra pillows.

The room had new flooring, toilet, sink and shower surround. Amenities were what you'd get at a chain hotel: fridge, microwave, coffee maker, free coffee and bottled water, decent cable package. It is located at the intersection of the two main drags in town which was handy, yet it is set back from the highway with a row of mature trees out front to buffer highway sounds. Staff was nice enough.

The room was a bit tired in places and could have used a lick of paint, but it's a 1960s-era motel at a great rate, so cleanliness, amenities and location were my main concerns, not how old the room was.
