Canad Inns Destination Centre Fort Garry

The room was nice and big, and the tub was lovely! Clean sheets and towels. The staff were wonderful and hospitable. Very helpful considering the terrible heatwave we've been experiencing. They bought an extra fan for my room after they had run out, and gave me a nice discount for all the trouble.

The hotel itself is kind of dated, their AC system couldn't keep up with this heat, and I wasn't able to adjust the temperature in my room. Had they not brought a fan, I feel like I'd be worse off. That might have to be updated to keep up with the volatile shift in weather in Winnipeg.

Clean, comfortable and the decor was lovely. Beds were great. Staff, pleasant.

We are seniors who were given a room at the end of a very long corridor. Said room overlooked the Splashers slide and pool. The problem was that by 4 o'clock this area was filled with screaming kids which lasted for several hours. We certainly do not begrudge kids having fun but after a long driving day it was a bit much and we were too pooped to change rooms So avoid those rooms if you like peace and quiet. We were in 230, 2nd from the end.

Spent 4 nights and would stay again. The staff were friendly polite and knowledgeable of the area and accommodated our early check in. The bi daily housekeeping was great and it had a resort feel. Multiple restaurants and lovely staff. Free parking was big added bonus

The room was a bit stuffy, may not have had proper ventilation, the carpet was coming up in multiple areas causing potential trip hazard in the room.

The location and the restaurants

The kids underage unsupervised in the pool, diving, and not following any of the rules. Also, kids running down the hallway in the middle of the night the first 2 nights. Also, there should have been backup lights in the hotel rooms when the power goes out. The power outage was 3 hours

Shower curtain wasn't long enough to contain the water within the tub during a shower! It looked like it got ripped off at the bottom! Needed replacement which I'm not sure why they wouldn't have charged whoever ripped it, for a new shower curtain! I assume everyone has to pay damage deposit

Everything! The 2 bedroom suit was so nice, loved we could all stay together! Great restaurants, beds are comfortable the pool was wonderful, location is perfect, easy to get to, lots of stores and restaurants around, even a park is close by! Also dog friendly with a reasonable fee!!

Nothing! It was all wonderful, our new favourite hotel in Winnipeg!

We chose this hotel as it’s a great location for attending the dinner theatre. We found friendly, welcoming attentive staff! We also enjoyed the hot tub and pool area.

The door handle on the inside of the bathroom door needs repair or replacement as it had difficulty staying attached to the door. This room would benefit by having a larger TV. The tv in this room was too small for the size of the room and the distance from the viewing area.

Jacuzzi was good

I was disappointed that I did not get the room that Booking.com was showing on the website. Apparently I can book online but I have to call in to confirm to get the room. I felt ripped off. Showing good pictures and giving a different room. The manager blamed it on me I should had called in. First time being there how do I know what rules the have.

Comfortable beds and good sized rooms. Location was easy to find. Amenities on property were good (restaurants, pub, water park). Staff was very friendly and helpful.

The water park air quality was so bad. I’m. Not sure if the ventilation was off or if there was another issue but it wasn’t good and stung the eyes.

We stayed in one of the theme rooms and really enjoyed it. It was a little silly, but we treated it as a fake vacation since it was a beach room. The room was huge and done nicely. The bed was so comfortable I wish we could have stayed longer. The Jacuzzi tub in the room worked great.

Hot tub in the pool area could have been hotter!
