Hillside Landing B&B

Henry was so kind and helpful, this is the gold standard of B&B. Beautiful location in Digby the most delicious food in a beautiful perfectly restored spotless clean quality Victorian Mansion Home. The windows and natural light entering combined with ocean view on a hillside make it a very special accommodation. The host family is kind, helpful and sincere, top quality we were a honeymoon couple this was the best stop we had in the maritimes between Nova Scotia and PEI.

The Hillside is in a perfect place to visit Digby and a great starting point for day trips. The owner was exceptional. Very friendly and helpful in all regards. The breakfast was one of the best we had on our trip. Just great. The house and the rooms are renovated but kept in the original style which makes it a perfect place to stay. We would come back anytime and can only recommend this small pearl in Digby.

We had a big room with plenty of space overlooking the harbour. Breakfast was great, wonderfully served by very welcoming and attentive hosts. The veranda was lovely to sit in the evening and watch the activity down in the town harbour. Short walk to town and a broad range of restaurants, although note there is a short, steep climb up the hill back to the B&B.

Note that there is only one time when breakfast is served to all guests together, so limited flexibility.

Beautiful Property! Lovely room with Comfortable bed, great shower.. Husband and I had a wonderful evening sharing a glass of wine relaxing on the back porch with beautiful views of the Harbour...Henry and Linda were Excellent Hosts. i had a pulled muscle and she made me an ice pack and gave me pain relieving cream for the ride...

Everything was Perfect..

We especially enjoyed the porch overlooking the harbour (visible in the picture). The host and hostess were very friendly, recommending local restaurants and suggesting places to visit during our stay. We liked the morning breakfasts where all the guests joined together for conversation and feasting. We felt this B & B was the best of the best of our entire trip!

Absoutely nothing we did not like about our trip.

Henry and Linda were fantastic hosts! They called and were able to get us booked on the Bay of Fundy Scenic Lobster Tour (which was amazing!) and directed us to many other scenic and unique experiences in and around Digby. And, of course, the Eggs Benedict with Scallops was HEAVENLY!! If you are staying in Digby, this is the place you must stay!!

The hosts received us with a warm welcome. Very nice couple. They went an extra mile for us. Henry mentioned to give us something before we go out for super but we left a little early to do site seeing. He went down to the restaurant and gave it to us. You don't receive that kind of service very often. The view was spectacular. We sat down at the veranda after super and enjoy the amazing view. The place was so clean, it's spotless and so cozy, you will feel at home right away. We love our bedroom and the bed was nice and so comfy. The sheets were fresh and crisp. We were so exhausted from our long drive, we slept right through the night. The breakfast was to die for. I haven't had anything like that. Definitely we will go back again.

I don't have anything I don't like in my accommodation at Hillside Landing.

The breakfast we had each morning was fantastic. The location of the house on the hill over looking the harbour was very picturesque. The room size was good, the bed size and comfort level was excellent. Henry and Linda were the perfect hosts, very accommodating and helpful. Would go back for a stay anytime.

There's a verandah that looks over Digby harbour. We were reading our books there one day and the innkeeper brought out slices of homemade strawberry pie with whipped cream! That's going above and beyond. Spacious room with everything we needed. Very central: walking distance to most things. Breakfast was delicious. Very quiet, restful sleep.

The Hillside Landing was a charming, well kept home just up the hill from the equally charming village of Digby. We took a break from our camper, and enjoyed the luxurious shower and spacious room. The morning breakfast was delicious, and I even had a birthday candle in my eggs Benedict! Thanks for a lovely birthday stay!
