Microtel Casselman

Very nice room, spacious. Well outfitted. The B'fast was good as was the coffee. Lots of room had it been busy. Plenty of food options nearby. WiFi worked great.

Something was leaking over the ceiling by reception. I pointed it out to the staff and they had alerted management. The room AC unit blew directly on the bed. It wasn't bad but were you someone that this might have bothered it could have been a deal breaker .... it did not bother me. This was stop 5 of 4 and admittedly, I had a stop in Swift Current at a Motel6 that was as nice as this for half the cost however the B'fast was better than the Motel6.

Staying at the Microtel-Chain of properties - part of the Wyndham Group - is always an excellent choice. The location is usually right off the highway - including this one, which also boasts a number of restaurant facilities within walking distance (Covid-19 issues notwithstanding, most offer dine-in facilities). The rooms are clean & comfortable. The property has an elevator...always helpful when the assigned room is on one of the upper floors ;-)

In my opinion, the small desk area should have better lighting for those of us who have to do some administrative work on the laptop at the end of a work-day (in this case, it would really be quite easy to install a neon-light tube right below the oversized LCD-TV screen....out of sight, but when turned on lighting-up the work area).

It was clean, spacious, toiletries were nice. Breakfast was good, staff was great. Loved the pantry you could charge to your room if needed.

Day 2, there was no pancake batter and no one around to ask for help to fill it - so the kids were disappointed. Coffee was so-so.

I loved the friendly staff and the clean facilities. Close to many options for a quick dinner. Enjoyed dinner at the microbrewery pub and some great coffee at the continental breakfast.

The bed was very soft and was placed close to exit door which slammed shut often, shaking the wall. Could hear guests above me late into the night.

The staff took obvious pride in creating a welcoming, very clean accommodation. A pleasing variety offered a nice choice of breakfast items. The breakfast area was kept very clean.

Since a common elevator serves four floors, it would be appreciated if a mandatory mask policy was maintained in public spaces.

Property very clean, great staff,breakfast was awesome, they have dog & cat treats at front desk, they have dove products, bed and pillows were comfortable

Staff, facilities, rooms, EXCELLENT!!! JOB Fantastically Done everyone. Covid 19 Guidelines being followed by everyone. Thank you very much to all of the staff who made our stay feel like a home away from home. :)

Breakfast was horrible though... :( Sad face...... We understand though that due to Covid 19 they couldn't do their regular breakfasts, however maybe they could change up their breakfast bags every few days..... Eating the same thing for 15days for breakfast was kinda gross. Yogurt, Apple, Granola bar, and juice box everyday..... maybe a muffin or a banana, milk and cereal...once in awhile......??

Very accommodating. My whole family enjoy the night of stay. Staff is very nice and helpful.

Just one thing on one room the Keurig machine is not clean and look liked has been used by the last guest.

Bed was comfortable. Room was clean. Location was quiet and close to the highway for easy arrival and departure. Staff was friendly but not necessarily extra helpful. See my comment about breakfast.

Didn't get breakfast. I didn't realize it was a specific request. That wasn't made clear. I figured it would have been available upon checkout. When I inquired on my way out, I was more or less told I was out of luck. It is the only complaint I have about my stay.

The hotel was clean and closely located to a few restaurants in walking distance. The breakfast was simple but hit the spot. This location is just off the highway with ample free parking.
