Town Inn Suites Hotel

The size of the suite was good, spacious, and very home-like.

It was extremely cold in the suite even with the heat on high. the heat didn’t work in the bedrooms. When we turned the pipe on in the kitchen, the water that came out was tinted yellow (we’re assuming that it had not been used in a long time). The shower had such low water pressure so taking a shower definitely takes longer than usual.

There are a variety of suite configurations. I booked the junior Studio with washer & dryer in the kitchenette. It also had a dishwasher, and a full sized refrigerator. The bathroom was spacious and impeccably clean. The front desk staff were professional and attentive. The suite was very clean and comfortable. I was lucky to have a high floor view eastwards (construction was going on to the west). Staff recommended the monthly parking pass - instead of daily charges - to save me money. The main “Bloor/Yonge” subway interchange is less than a five minute walk away, and the subway is accessible (escalators and elevators - at least in the city core.) The neighbourhood is people-friendly, and well served by cafés, restaurants, shopping, and small grocery markets very close by. Internet service was very good. I don’t have cable tv at home, and enjoyed watching that. NOTE: as with many suite hotels, housekeeping will clean only once a week. I needed nothing, but the front desk would have obtained extra towels, etc. I would have stayed longer if I could have, and would definitely call this my Toronto home the next time I visit. Because the building is from the … 1970s? … there are stairs (about 10) from the parking lot to the basement entrance, as well as a few more stairs up, and then down, before you reach the elevator. I managed very well, but some persons may need to leave luggage with the front desk/concierge, and/or drop off passengers who cannot use stairs before parking the car in the below-ground garage.

Staff was very helpful and friendly, especially on the Concierge desk. Our kitchen room was larger than expected, very clean, was very well equipped, had a very comfortable bed and was very quiet. Requests for extra glasses, pans, and vases were promptly dealt with. We liked the location too, just a 5 minute walk to the Bloor&Yonge subway station. We had a very enjoyable week's stay over Christmas. We would certainly recommend staying here for any visit to Toronto; it was very good value.

One small improvement I would like to see is a larger TV - the main room was so wide that watching from the other side of the room was not the best. TV in the bedroom could also have done with being bigger.

The hotel is close to the subway in a nice neighborhood. The apartment is quite big and nice. It could use some small improvements, but it is nothing essential. It had nice, big, comfy bed and it was well equipped with kitchen appliances. They clean the room each day and provide fresh towels if need it. Overall, a good experience.

The breakfast is very simple. It is OK, but very limited in terms of choices. We took it to the room because the breakfast room was too small. When booking the hotel, it said they have a swimming pool, but afterward we found out is not the case anymore. They should remove it from their description.

Staff was very welcoming! Really enjoyed the room it was clean and modern and had all the essentials. Will be returning within the next 3 months and will definitely stay here again. Thank you! See you soon

The only issue we found with the room was that the heater/ac was very loud. And also next time if something like water stoppage happens it would be good to have a call from reception to let us know more about it.

Awesome location within walking distance of a lot of attractions, parks, restaurants & other locations. Danny was great & provided info on the CitySightseeing bus & other tour options available in close proximity to the hotel. The room was clean & included a refrigerator, stove & microwave. Housekeeping came by daily. This hotel is wonderful! There are no negatives. The neighborhood is quirky, but family friendly. We would definitely stay here again.

Breakfast could be more varied, but with the suite, there was no need to really indulge in breakfast options because we were able to eat & cook in our room.

Town Inn Suites is very well situated. Five minute walk to the subway, twenty five minute walk to Dundas square. Supermarket across the road and plenty of restaurants within easy walking distance. The staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. Our apartment was spacious, bright, modern, well equipped and spotless. House keeping was regular and extra supplies were available on demand. Continental breakfast available, gorgeous muffins.

Breakfast area very small is really only a collection point for food then retreat back to your apartment. While there is limited seating there it just wouldn’t be comfortable to eat there with the volume of people passing through.

The room itself was very nice -- natural floors, ample space, more than enough lighting. The ease of the navigating the neighborhood was high, as it was near two subway stops and surrounded by an abundant amount of restaurants and shops within walking distance.

The elevators often took quite some time to arrive (we were on the 16th floor) and the parking was a tad on the pricey side ($36 per night USD). The complimentary breakfast was quality, but not enough if you are looking for cereals, bagels, juices, pancakes or the standard items. There were muffins and croissants and coffee, but not much else.

We found that the hotel was located very centrally which provided us with great convenience in terms of moving around without a private car. The staff was indeed very friendly and helpful whenever we had any requests or questions. Breakfast provided was modest, which we already knew it would be based on reviews written by other people, but enjoyable. The pictures are a good reflection of the property. All-in-all it we enjoyed our time here and it was good value for money.

The only downside worth noting for me is that the shower pressure was low and the water was not always hot enough.

The location was great. The room was just like the picture. Nice kitchenette, table, sitting area, and t.v. etc. The beds were comfortable. The price was great for what it was, pretty much an apartment. It was great for the kids. Being able to make homemade meals on vacation is a huge plus for us Would stay here again

There were huge water stains on the ceiling in the bedroom, which led to a lot of cracking down the walls. The room could have been cleaned a bit better. The floors were still dirty after housekeeping went in, etc. There is a very nice pool in the basement that should be filled and open as well!! That would be a huge plus for this place. But other than that, it was great.
