Howard Johnson Plaza by Wyndham Windsor

A quiet comfortable room with good WiFi. Breakfast was basic, but ok. Staff were pleasant.

No real food options anywhere close to the hotel. I was dismayed at the overuse of throwaway utensils & plates with a significant amount of commercially produced food.- It didn't stop people picking up bread in their hands (yes, there were tongs available) It is quite a distance from the bus & train station & town centre, with very few public transport options.

The room decor and breakfast offered was very good, the reception staff (Kareena) and the breakfast staff (Neelum) were very accomodating and helpful, would certainly give them very high marks. I liked the fact that there was a microwave in the room as we were able to use that a couple of times

We had a two day stay at the hotel. There should have been shampoo and fresh linen available for both days. While we followed the instructions to ensure fresh linen, Except for towls I dont believe we got fresh sheets (it was a very hot day the night before and we wanted clean sheets the following day) and we had to go down to reception to get shampoo since there was non in our bathroom. My one suggestion would be is to have some tourist locations highlighted so that your staff can make suggestions on where to go and what to see in Windsor

The price was very good. The location. Free Parking and Breakfast. The staff was friendly. The beds were comfortable. There was a microwave and fridge in room. The breakfast had bagels or toast with cream cheese, jams, peanut butter. There was waffles, cereal, yogurt, apples, bananas, muffins, boiled eggs, milk, chocolate milk, juices and coffee.

The building is dated, but a good place to stay on a budget. The bathroom is really small.

Breakfast was not good at all. Other than the breakfast everything was fantastic. In a word, it's value for money. If they focus on breakfast a bit more, I am sure more people will visit this hotel very often.

Breakfast. less items. No eggs at all. Last day, I ate just a piece of bread. Hopefully management will focus on this particular side to attract more guests.

I understand the anxiety of booking an affordable room. This is always like rolling dice. In this case, no need to worry. Beds are new and comfy. Crisp sheets. Property is well maintained. It’s old…but they take care of what is needed for a property of that age. Really well done.

Only thing is pillows. Could be a better quality. Especially w such a comfortable bed and crisp sheets. Might have just been my room.

Great place to stay. Exceptional staff. Good breakfast. Everything about them is just great. I'm soon going back there and I would recommend it for everybody.

We stayed there for one week. I'm not sure why housekeeping would not sweep and mop the floors for the whole days we stayed there. .

The location is convenient, the staff are nice and it os affordable. Next door to Tim Horton’s.

Guests are urged to not take the breakfast food back to their rooms. The dining room area is small so when there is a large group of people, the area is loud, crowded, and overwhelming.

The staff was friendly & the room was clean. Right next door to a Tim Hortons & across the street from a convenience store/gas station. Our stay included a breakfast with a self-serve waffle maker.

The breakfast area had so many tables, that people couldn't walk around. It was kind of comical...you couldn't even walk between them.

The room was okay, there was a microwave, the heating worked.

When I arrived, I brought a cat with me in a carrier box. The cat's owner was about to pick it up in an hour, so I told them, that I'd like to check in and wait for the owner in the hall. They said that animals are banned from the whole building, so I had to wait outside on the street..... I think it wasn't very nice.

This is an older hotel, but it's very clean and well maintained. It's in an excellent location and has a great staff too. It served my needs just fine. I wouldn't have any problem staying here again.

I was fine with everything here.
