Motel Royal

We thought we'd be at the motel before supper time so around 8:00pm we received a phone call from Sebastian at the front desk asking us if we were still coming in and if everything was ok. Since we were about 2 hours from there, he told us there was no rush and to drive carefully! When we got there, we were received with a great big smile and he had such a nice personality! He even took time to show us our room and told us all about the lake (and since it was raining to be careful on the deck because it was slippery) and the little bread shop down the road!! Exceptional service!

Breakfast was N/A. Location was perfect for the occasion we attended in Cabano! Size of room was perfect for the (3) of us. Room was clean, bathroom was very clean! Beds were clean & comfortable! Motel attendant (Sebastian) was all you can expect in customer service, he was awesome! Morning attendant was also very helpful with ice for our coolers before we headed back to Maine!

There was no outlet in bathroom for dryer and curler. Also no soap in dispenser in shower (for future customers, we brought our own products) Light in room flickered on and off (short maybe?)

I travelled with a cat and puppy. The staff were very accommodating. The pet friendly rooms are on the ground floor which makes it easy to take pets out when needed. The room was very clean and there is a restaurant next door. The location was excellent!

Everything was great- I really enjoyed the stay. Location was great and it was beautiful

The only thing I would have liked to see is at least 1 kids station in English for free on the TV- we did spend most of our time time outside but it would have definitely been greay

This location is gorgeous! The motel facilities are spotless inside and out. The employee who checked us in provided excellent information about the area and a nearby restaurant within walking distance, Pub du Lac.

Convenient location for travel; priced competatively; refurbished old classic drive up motel.

Normally nothing about this motel, but... after a shower I walked around with damp [but not wet] feet... my feet were filthy on the bottom. Black. I had to wash them before getting into bed. Please damp mop the floors! Disappointed in the usually spotless rooms. :-(

Fantastic location. large room to accommodate me, my son and our dog. Close to a nice restaurant and amazing views. Easy to access from the highway. Very quiet and felt safe.

Stove top but no cooking equipment e.g. pots or utensils.

Lovely motel on the river with really spacious rooms.  Nice and clean, recently renovated,  with good coffee, and comfortable tub chairs to relax in. The front desk staff were very helpful.

We rented 2 rooms for our layover to New Brunswick. We needed a place to stay overnight for our move from Ontario. We had a 26' U-Haul and towing a car on a tow trailer hooked up to a pickup truck. The parking was sufficient to accommodate our needs, however the location of the hotel check-in is at the top of a steep hill. The road driving down to our rooms was very steep. The staff are super friendly and accommodating. We had one room with a kitchenette and one without. The rooms are a good size and the beds are comfy. Very clean and warm. Shampoo/Conditioner are not provided, there is a soap dispenser on the shower wall. No blow dryer is provided either, no big deal as I packed everything.

Give better directions where to drive in with an oversized vehicle to avoid steep hills.

Very clean with a well-equipped kitchenette, real glasses and crockery, toaster, kettle, etc. I liked the blinds that could be adjusted to let in light.

The lighting could be better, specifically a light on each side of the bed. Also a water-diffusing shower head would be a good idea.
