Centre de Vacances 5 Étoiles Family Resort

The place is actually a refugee farm for saved animals who can't be released into the wild. It was a rare chance to see the animals really close, to feed them and to visit them in a different time - in the morning and in the evening. They have those fascinating animals like silver fox and white wolves and cute canadian animals: a lynx, a porcupine, a marmot and racoons. It was a really great experience! The house had nearly everything we needed. We arrived very late, at 22:30 and still entered the place because of clear instructions. The animal visiting and feeding was free for those who stay on the farm.

The chalet we stayed is located right by the Saguenay Fjord, the panoramic view from our deck is breathtaking, a short trail leads the rocky shore. There are two bedrooms, one with a queen bed and the other with two double beds, and a sofa bed in living room, our family of 4 ( including two teens) have been very comfortably staying there for 3 nights. We saw belugas popping up on the other side of river where the water is deeper, needing a binocular to see details though.

The volume of shower water is very weak and a couple of extra hooks are needed in bathroom for hanging towels and clothes.

Excellent :) A zoo in the resort !! This is not common ! A lot to do around within 40 minutes driving. You can definitely stay several weeks here. In fact, we have extended our stay ! The staff is exceptionally nice +++ (the lady at the reception is very very kind :) We will definitely come there again when we will be back around the Tadoussac - Saguenay area :)

WiFi was not stable enough in the apartment for a video conference that I had for work, but they open the restaurant just for me so I could get the WiFi of the restaurant there for my conference :) Otherwise the WiFi in the apartment is enough for everything else :)

Very good location .A beautiful cabin, basic and pleasant. Well equipped kitchen.

Plaesent but old and not well maintained cabin. Very small shower. old towels. Not so clean. We did not like to see that the farm Animals were kept in smaller cages and substandard conditions.

Large private house that easily fit multiple families. Interesting bed layout on the top floor able to provide some privacy to people. Laundry in the house with area to dry clothes. Great view from all the balconies.

Tricky to get to with steep unsealed roads that were difficult to pass after rain in a fully loaded van.

the chalet is very clean and comfy. the sight view is really good, especially the stars in the sky shining above. the lake near is beautiful. the small farm for kids is good, too.

1) it is a little difficult to find the chalet especially during the night and around is really dark. 2) the bed is a little soft to me, but they are clean. The pillow and blankets are clean. 3) the bath tubes for bathing is not really good but still functioning well.

Nice little place where you can cook and stay for a few days whilst enjoying the walks near the fjords

On the pictures it looks like you have a few on the fjord... But it's not even close to it. You do have a nice view into the woods and fields though

It's an amazing place to stay with kids! Our chalet #15 was were comfortable for a family of 4 with a pet. Beds were comfortable, fireplace wad an additional charming star. Girls on the réception were helpful - thank you!

We did not have wifi in the chalet.

we booked it for a day, but finally we extended for another one - the family apartment was much better than on the photos - very cosy and warm - comfortable bed - super well equipped kitchen - very friendly staff, answering any questions about the animals, giving advices for the area - it looks that they really take care about their animals

The ATV rides were a lot of fun. My kids loved the animals. Very clean an well situated. Easy access towards Tadoussac. Staff very nice and accommodating.

I personally was a little sad to see the animals. They seem to be well fed and taking cared off but I’m always sad to see animals in a cage. And the price for the ATV activity was a little too expensive.
