Weskar Lodge Hotel

The restaurant in lodge - amazing options and flavours. Traditional Chilean style meals. Delicious. Myself and husband are Canadians. Trying the Chilean meals was such an awesome experience. Breakfast was included and a great value. Our room (#5) had an amazing view of the port and mountains. Room was clean and bed very comfortable. Location was amazing. Short drive to town and about 1.5 hrs to the park. Would highly recommend this location.

The bathroom in our room was semi- open concept. There was a sliding door to the toilet room and swinging door for the shower. More privacy (an enclosed washroom) would have been appreciated. Other than this, no other cons.

View from bedroom was excellent and exceeded our expectations. Breakfast was very good. Well presented. Staff very friendly and helpful. Dinner menu had very good vegetarian options. Good position.

We had 4 breakfasts but were only asked on our last morning if we wanted eggs done as an omelette, scambled etc. Which was a shame as we are vegetarian we don’t eat the ham and other meat offered for breakfast. My husband also doesn’t eat cheese so this option would have been nice on other mornings. No decaffinated instant coffee available.

Good, However breakfast was at 6.30am and sometimes it wasn’t set up by that time.

No access to getting a hot cup of tea or coffee for yourself without going to the bar and ordering one. You should be able to make a cup of tea or coffee in your room, after a day of sightseeing. It would be helpful to have a small fridge in your room so you can keep your boxed lunch cold for early sightseeing the next day. Once again you had to ask if the bar could keep your lunch in their fridge overnight.

Nice feel to the place and very welcoming staff. Great location with a lovely view across the fjord. A little out of town so quiet, but just a 20 minute walk to the centre. Helpful staff, permitted us a late checkout when my husband was poorly, thank you. Handy to have a restaurant on site with a varied menu.

Not easy to keep the room cool as the windows didn't open and although we closed the blind down to keep the sun out, the cleaning staff opened it so our room was very hot. A lot of beds in the room so not masses of space and our double bed was made of two singles with different heights! The design is nice, kind of rustic with lots of wood but rustic in finish in several places too!

Fantastic lodge with an amazing view of the bay and the town of Puerto Natales. Big, clean and comfy rooms with the great addition of two armchairs in front of the window to sit and look out at the boats, the black neck swans and the gorgeous Patagonian sky. Nice breakfast. Not for folks with mobility issues in general. Great value.

The steep access from parking lot to lodge and the stairs inside room side of lodge will be an issue for folks with mobility issues.

Wow what a beautiful hotel! The lobby and restaurant overlooking the water have such a nice atmosphere! The rooms are comfortable and clean and the big bed was our highlight. Also the bathroom is clean and I think quite new. The staff was really friendly and we got welcomed with a welcome drink. It is a little bit out of the city center, but Uber works well, so we didn’t experience it to be a problem.

Great location with incredible views of the gulf. The hotel is incredibly comfy. Breakfast (included) was fantastic: huge buffet with lots of fresh and tasty food. Restaurants and bar were great. Room had beautiful views and was pristine. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We loved hanging out in the hotel lobby. Decoration was a nice touch. Will definitely come back again!

Everything was great.

The location and views are wonderful. Our rooms faced the water, which is the way to go. The rooms were quiet with comfy beds and good showers. Breakfast was good and fully set up when they said it would be, which was good for our long drive to the park

There was a slight smell of sewage on the 2nd day at the side entrance that we could smell when our window was open.

Key to room barely worked, could not get the safe to work. Lobby seemed very run down with broken furniture, but most importantly, half of the staff was great, but the other staff seemed undertrained and inattentive. The waitress had no clue how the food on the menu was made and told us incorrect information, and dirty dishes from previous guests were left in the lobby for a long time before being cleared.

The views from Weskar are stunning, looking out across the water. It's nice to be out of the town (20 minute walk) and the dinner was extremely nice too. Breakfast is well catered for, with excellent cold and hot options. The welcome drink is a nice touch also - recommend the Sauvignon white wine!
