Paco Hotel Gangding Metro Guangzhou-Free Shuttle Bus fir Canton Fair

The Hotel Staff is very courteous and helpful. They go beyond their duties and help you always. We travelled as a group of friends, and everyone had great experiences with them. - The rooms (with window) are larger than standard size. - Onsite restaurant has a few good options. - Free buffet breakfast is passable (continental). But they are happy to accommodate your dietary requirements. - Daily room service is great. You get new, fresh room every night when you come back from a long day. - Free shuttle twice a day was great addon. You get a very warm welcome when you are back from Canton fair which was pleasant surprise. These people are too nice :) I love them.

- Rooms and linen had a very bad smell of cigarettes. I guess they dont change linen after a guest checks out. - The aircon was a bit noisy. If you need pin drop silence while sleeping, then it could be a problem for you. - If you leave window open, then cigarette smoke keeps coming inside from people smoking on the streets below (people love cigarettes here) - It can make you sick and give headaches. - The restroom in the restaurant is a torture. NEVER use it. It is a Chiese style toilet and always FULL of cigarette smoke and a foul smell of gases. There is no exhaust fan or any ventilation available. I feel really sorry for the hotel staff who have to use it all the time. - Internet worked perfectly for me, but it didn't work for half of us. So it is abhit and miss.

overall was good. Is it near to Metro station (10 minutes walking), and a lot eatery places nearby. They are closed quite late night too. Hotel did provide bottles of water near the lift too. If we finished our water in the room, we still can get it from there.

Hotel did not provide Iron.

everything was wonderful, very nice breakfast with possibility to eat outside on terrace, beautiful rooms, check-in and out without any problems. Rooms are great, also room service is doing great job.

people in reception don't speak english, but they are very helpful. If you don't speak chinese, remember to have translator on the phone

1. mosquitoes. but the stuff provided us with anti mosquitoes spray and other things. 2. a little bit old and dirty carpets with not very good smell.

Only thing I liked in this hotel is the shuttle bus to Canton fair.

The room was very bad condition with waterleak from Toilet, mosquito, very bad breakfast and staff speaks only English

The location of the hotel is very good, there are shops nearby, close to the subway station.The staff were friendly.

It would be better if don't need to take the stairs to go to the 5th floor.

It’s a little bit far from the Canton Tower area to walk (about 1 hour walk)... the metro you need to change as well. If you have time though stay here as everything is pretty cool and the attached bar does good food and drinks.
