first of all it’s super good location, you can go anywhere you want. I love the view from the room, and every day they organize cleaning service, in the room it’s so clean. the bed sheets are white and clean. shower is good.

1) swimming pool since 2pm doesn’t have sun because of the buildings around. 2) also breakfast is not so good, variety is pour and every day it’s almost the same Chinese food. what I ate every day it’s noodles, sausages and toast. fruits are not so good, just orange or watermelon or melon.

Very central to city and beach. A nice view from our hotel room to the city.

The pool was not clean and could not be used.

It's very clean, they changed towels every day. No noise from the neighbors. Location is great, lots of shops around and close to the beach

Breakfast is rather poor. It's all Chinese style. No black coffee, only the one with sugar and coconut powder. Very limited in meat, and there were only buns as a sweet food.

Overall, a nice place. A bit old, but clean rooms. Location is good. Lot of western restaurants nearby. New towels, shampoo every day. Nice seaview if you are above 30th floor. No bad smell, except one time there was from toilet. Shower needs maintenance. Pool is nice, could be bigger.

Smoking in hallway permitted?! Unbelievable. No door/wall/screen on bathroom?! No visible wifi password, had to check under router. Fridge doesn't work if you're out on beach. Slippers are plastic.

The location was amazing, however the staff were a bit blunt apart from the cleaning lady who was lovely.

Staff not overly friendly but ok, they shut the pool for 3 days and couldn't provide any explanation. Just said its needs testing. Not a big fan of heights and room and balcony was on the 33rd floor asked for a change of room to a lower level and was given one on the 23rd floor, the room was much smaller. Still too high.

Barry’s is excellent value. The hotel is in an excellent location, just a short walk to the beach, restaurants, bars and plenty of shopping. While the breakfast and facilities are relatively modest, the room was clean and I had a beautiful view of the sea. What really made my stay here was the friendly and helpful staff. Every person we spoke to or asked for help was warm, generous and enthusiastic, and I would stay there again for this simple (but rare) feature.

Absolutely wonderful place to stay. A beautiful big room with plenty of light. The staff was so helpful and kind. The location is ideal, the beach is a very short walk away. Plenty of shops on your doorstep.

The lift sometimes took a while, but it's no big deal. Definitely to be expected. I wish the breakfast had more vegetarian options. The fruit selection should have been bigger. But as a pregnant woman I suppose I was pickier than usual.

The location was perfect. The balcony is amazing and the view to the city is stunning.

The location of the hotel is great, lots of cafes, restaurants and a 10 minute walk to the beach. The staff speak no English, but we used the translator with no issues, and they were helpful when ever we needed anything. Check in was quick with no issues, and they upgraded us with no extra charge which was nice. The room was basic, but clean and spacious and the shower was awesome. Our room was cleaned everyday, and the bed sheets every other day. For the price of the hotel I can’t really complain.

The lifts in peak times take a while as there are only 3 lifts , so if you’re at the top floor don’t forget anything!! Also, if you’re a light sleeper, bring earplugs as the walls are a little thin.

Had some troubles with the air-conditioner first, but they fixed it quickly. The hotel breakfast doesn't have much variety, so if are not keen on the Chinese kind of breakfast, don't recommend you to choose the option with breakfast included.

The location is great, took me not more than 10 minutes to get to the beach. In my room were lots of different towels, including those which you can take to the beach. The beach is fine, just of course too much of irritating music, but it happens later. If you go to the beach early in the morning you can listen to the waves. Nearby many fruit spots, shops with the necessary beach equipment, and nice food.
