Ecolirios Boutique Hotel and Spa

The property was situated in a great location. The design of the villas and entire compound was just amazing! I’ve stayed on the Pacific side of CR, but the Caribbean is much peaceful. The local town just down the road is great to do your shopping or just absorb the culture. It’s not touristy like the Pacific side. I’ve been to some cool destinations with a great staff, but the staff here including the owner are just brilliant. They really know how to give their guests a welcoming hand of their country which you can feel the minute we got picked up at the airport! Gracias a todos!!!

I honestly can say that there is not one thing I didn’t like about the property. If you want a rainforest adventure and tranquility, then this is the place.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Ecoliriose boutique Hotel , and I must say, it was an exceptional experience. From the moment I arrived, the friendly and attentive staff made me feel right at home. In particular, Dixci, Manual, and Sergio stood out with their outstanding service and warm hospitality. The villa I stayed in was absolutely beautiful. The attention to detail and the tasteful design made for a luxurious and comfortable stay. Not only was the villa aesthetically pleasing, but it was also immaculately clean. The housekeeping staff did an excellent job in maintaining the cleanliness throughout my stay. The hotel's amenities and facilities were also top-notch. From the well-equipped gym to the tranquil pool area, everything was well-maintained and provided a truly relaxing atmosphere. The location of the hotel was another aspect that deserves praise. It was conveniently situated, making it easy to explore the surrounding area and access nearby attractions. Overall, my stay at the boutique Hotel was nothing short of exceptional. The amazing staff, including Dixci, Manual, and Sergio, went above and beyond to ensure a memorable experience. The clean and beautiful villa, along with the excellent amenities, made for a truly luxurious stay. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a delightful getaway.

Ecolirios is a serene paradise unlike any other place I’ve stayed. It is important to have the correct expectations when coming here. First off, I don’t understand commenters complaining about the weather- it’s the rain forest and yes it rains every day. the rain is beautiful and pleasing to the eyes and ears. Yes, the roads are quite bumpy so make sure you have the right rental vehicle and go slow. you don’t get these views via concrete roads. Also, this isn’t a bustling resort with a million guests and staff. It is purposefully small and serene. The staff were kind and helpful without being pushy. Special thanks to Dixie in the lobby, Sergio in the restaurant, and Dylan and Brandon, who led us on the most beautiful horseback riding excursion and helped me so much when I got hurt on the hike. The grounds are insanely gorgeous with a cute farm and some animals and some lovely trails. We stayed in one of the larger villas and I can only describe it as luxurious, elegant and modern. it is one of the nicest accommodations I’ve ever stayed at. there is something special about staying in a place designed by such talented architects who have taken care of all of the minute details. A truly remarkable property and a truly memorable stay!

The boutique hotel is perfect to disconnect. In the middle of nowhere away from tourists and attractions one finds this nice place. The apartments are beautiful. Toni and Manuel were perfect.

I felt a bit observed in the bathroom, especially in the nights as the walking way to the other apartment was very close and not completely covered with plants yet. There is not much to do around. The hotel offers activities and food, as there are no alternatives around one has to stick to those. But to disconnect for some days is perfect.

Ecolirios is a great place to stay with your spouse, family, or friends. It has various activities that make your stay even more enjoyable. The staff makes you feel at home; they all are engaged in the Ecolirios project. Special shout out to Dixie, Sergio, and Tony, who made our stay exceptional. Johan, our driver from the airport to the property and back, knows the road and Costa Rican history by heart, he made us feel safe, and we learned even more about the country. We are definitely returning to Ecolirios in the near future.

It was a unique experience having a room in the middle of the rain forest. The team was exceptionally friendly and helpful.

It's a catch 22 as the rooms where in the middle of the rain forest, but with this a sort of isolated location comes with it. The distance ls between restaurant and rooms are that long that people tend to take the car. Also getting to the hotel from the main road is quite an advanture. 4 wheel drive and rather bigger SUV is a must!

The food was delicious. I had crepes every morning during our 5 day stay. The property is gorgeous and the staff was very friendly and accommodating.

The road is not ideal but I know they are working on improving it. Plan your stay to be a spa trip with amazing massages, food, drinks and total relaxation. Dont expect to visit other places during your stay because everything is 3 hours away.

I’ve spent 2 days at Ecolirius and was an amazing experience to chill out. Staff was awesome, food is perfect and nothing could be even better than sleep admiring the nature. The wall/glass is breathtaking! No way you get up in a bad mood when you have that view! Super reccomend for a relax experience.

Nothing. Everything met my expectations.

Gorgeous place! Everything is thought of to the smallest thing; the panoramic window, the king size bed, the fire place on a private patio, the beautiful wooden interior design. Very private, very romantic, very relaxing and calming. Perfect for couples. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. The guided tours with Denis are so so good! And the restaurant has a perfect atmosphere and view.

Hot water usually runs out after 10 minutes, so have to take very quick showers.

A beautiful hotel with absolutely lovely staff! Our receptionist Dixi was incredibly helpful with everything and made sure everything worked for us and went out of her way even when we arrived super late due to traffic troubles. The breakfast was absolutely yummy and we loved the natural pool!

Nothing negative per se, just a few things we weren’t aware of: - there was no mini fridge although there was a small cooking area - the windows are “open” and there are no insect screens
