Mapi's is a budget accommodation. That said, rooms were clean, air con good and wi fi was amongst the best we have had during our stay in Costa Rica. They also have cable - first time in our 14 nights here it is located in Paquera, so there are restaurants nearby. It is situated on main road to ferry so can be a bit noisy. Nilda suggested earplugs, I was a bit alarmed but I really didn't need to be. I took earplugs. The beds were comfortable. The reception staff and customer service provided by owner was outstanding. We booked there because it was close to geco bioluminescence tour. I was apprehensive about the roads to tour and also about booking Mapi's budget accommodation but everything was really good. Would I stay again..yes I would!

The office area and pool could do with some work . I'd suggest updating if they can.

The receptionist waited until we arrived from the 8:30 pm fairy. It was less then a 10 minutes ride from the fairy, which was great. The room was very clean

It was very difficult to get the water in the shower to right temp, was either too hot or not hot enough. Eventually we found the sweet spot but that was frustrating a bit

Good stay for one night, with great location for Bioluminescence. The apartment is big and clean.has a fridge to store breakfast. the water in the shower was very low pressure and cold. The ferry is a couple of minutes down the road. its low budget but comfortable. usb spots are useful. bed was comfy

its an older building, may could hear your neighbors. bring your earplugs if needed.

Very close to ferry & evening bioluminescence tour. Very clean, ac was cold, good TV, fairly good wifi, a place to sit outside & eat. Local feeling as opposed to upscale touristy. Across from a small park & our room off the road a little bit. Very very basic as it states in description. Felt safe.

No cups to drink water.. Beds & pillows lumpy. No light by bed.

We loved the little pool, the hot water, the friendly staff, the nice pillows, how clean the rooms were, easy parking, great wifi, and the easy check in with the passcode locks! We also really appreciate being able to check in early. Would definitely stay here again!

The TV was a little small!

We had a nice, pleasant stay here. The room was spacious. It had A/C and the shower had hot water. When we sent a question to the owners, they were at the door 5 minutes later to help us. Good value and a good nights sleep. 🙏

It was all fine

Good value in the area. Staff was friendly but did not speak english, which is rather our fault that we do not speak spanish properly. But we manged to get a tour and taxi for bioluminescence kayak and that was all we wanted. The bioluminescence was also a great experience.

Great stay for one night, with good location. The apartment was clean. The ferry is a couple of mins away down the road. Parking is right in front of the apartments.

The lock of the apartment was equipped with a keypad, but the whole lock and doorknob looked like it could be ripped out with a stronger pull.

Perfect place to catch an early ferry from Paquera! Nice beds to sleep on.

You can only check in until 20.00 pm. If they have the feeling you might not come they just resent the room to another person, so make sure to 100% confirm your room!

Clean basic facilities - exactly as advertised. Rooms were VERY spacious. Secure, refrigerator in rooms. Communication beforehand was great!

Microwave and coffee wasn't available at 7 AM, as listed.
