Aminess Korcula Heritage Hotel

I have nothing but good things to say about this hotel! My partner and I stayed for three nights and from the moment we walked in until we checked out, every single one of the staff was personable, professional, and always going above and beyond. We visited during off-peak season so many of the local attractions were closed. However, they called up every vineyard, bike rentals, wine shops, and helped coordinate a beach and wine getaway and constantly helped recommend wonderful local spots to check out. Even though we only stayed a couple days, the whole hotel's staff were so kind and friendly so we got to know every single one of them during our stay. Truly 10/10 service. The hotel itself is historic and stunning. The view is to die for and their restaurant and bar terrace is such a peaceful place to relax, drink wine, chat with staff, and read a book. The hotel is in the Old Town, which makes it a perfect 5 minute walk from the ferry dock through the town. The room was clean, comfortable, and I had some of my best sleeps there. We appreciated the rainfall shower and Ritual products provided by the hotel. The food was incredible - there was nothing on the menu I didn't like or wasn't wowed by and the prices are extremely great for the amount and quality of food you are given. We also was pampered by their inclusive breakfast menu that not only had a bottomless breakfast buffet, but a menu of hot dishes you could order. Of course, they always provided bubbly wine and juice in the morning too! This hotel is perfect for a romantic getaway but also lovely for families too. Korcula is so safe and friendly that people with small kids or senior members would have an easy time here. A huge thanks to all the staff for making our stay so memorable and special. My partner and I are so excited to come back here again soon and we are planning on making this place a tradition for us to come back to.

The hotel is well situated and overlooks the water, where several yachts are parked. It’s also very charming and clean. The service is also absolutely amazing. Angelo is so kind and helpful. He provided many great recommendations and was always a pleasure to be around. We would come back just for his service alone!

Breakfast is a bit hectic but still great and came with our rooms, so can’t really complain

perfect location. great staff, Andelo was of great help after ferry canceled at last minute. helped us get a bus ticket to our next destination, and even a map too next hotel, along with call to notify we would be late. very helpful

no elevator but we had help with our luggage coming and going from staff.

Staff were very welcoming and friendly, couldn't do more for you. They sent us on our way with a few goodies for on onward journey which was a lovely touch. Also helped with our bags to and from the room (the property does not have a lift) Lovely breakfast with both buffet and made to order items. Room was large and comfortable - our son LOVED his special little window next to his bed which he could look out of in the morning over the harbour. Location was ideal, only a minute from two beaches/swimming spots and in the town for all the shops, bars, restaurants and history.

We had a triple room which is has a mezzanine level for the main bed and then the lounge and single bed downstairs. The main window is way up high, only visible from the top level so when you walk in you're presented with just a big wall which is a shame given the view at the front of the hotel. Unavoidable - it's just the nature of the historic building, but it was a bit of a surprise and a little disappointing. But overall the room was super comfortable and our son loved his little window next to his bed in the morning :)

Some confusion in room description, where room described as two beds, but the second was a rollaway. staff worked hard to accommodate our needs through. while we were fine with several flights of stairs there is no elevator access to rooms which was not described in the booking description small windows over looking the port provide a lovely porthole like view, however we needed staff to open and close skylight blind in the lounge area where rollaway bed located.

Beautiful hotel and great breakfast. My room was superb with little complimentary treats and an oceanfront view.

Staff could not always be found - the front desk was left vacant at times. Also, it was usually manned by only one person - again I would have expected better customer service from a hotel with this high ranking. For a hotel this expensive, I expected to find a swimming pool as an extra facility but there was not one. Also, we would have appreciated some directions for finding the hotel from the ferry wharf. This could have been emailed to us the day before. There was some signage on the island but it was not clear.

This is a charming old hotel on the water in the medieval town. An exceptional location with beautiful views and water-front lounge. Very nice amenities in the room, including a handwritten welcome note! There are thoughtful extras, like a small pouch that can be hung on the room door for a small gift if you indicate you don't want the linens changed in the room every day. A hotel that actually stands by the request! It's quiet, comfortable with extraordinarily helpful staff. There's a delicious breakfast, including à la carte items served on the waterfront patio.

For this type of hotel, there was nothing I didn't like. There are limitations for a building like this, but the hotel has accommodated them very well. Small cruise ships and party boats dock in front of the hotel, but the windows are so good that you can't hear a thing when closed. And the air conditioning keeps the room comfortable when closed up.

Beautiful old hotel in a perfect waterfront location in Korcula Old Town. Welcoming, helpful staff who were very accommodating of our needs travelling with a young child, and even help keep him entertained while we sipped drinks on the terrace one afternoon. The breakfasts were great and it's nice being able to enjoy them in the shaded terrace overlooking the harbour.

The bathroom in our second floor room was very small, and the tiny shower cubicle in particular difficult to get in and out of. The large number of small cruise/tour ships docked in harbour towards the end of the day can slightly let down the otherwise amazing location.

The location was great, right in the heart of the Old City, and the staff were all friendly and warm. The lobby bar offered an excellent spot for afternoon drinks and the breakfast was delicious with made-to-order entrees. The staff offered great suggestions on where to visit on the island given we were there off-season and many locations were closed.

As other reviews have mentioned, the carpeting in the rooms was a bit worn and unexpected for a beach/island luxury lodging. Bathrooms were also a bit smaller than expected given the quality/price of the hotel.

We had a lovely view from the room. Staff was very kind and helpful (Rafaela from reception desk and Smiljan from the restaurant). Hotel is very clean and well situated.
