Hotel Neboder

Breakfast was good. I enjoyed the pancakes. Best aspect of this hotel is it's central location. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The front desk employees speak English.

Elevator were very old and small. The "business center " didn't exist. I had to email my requests to print documents to the front desk. However, they did let me use their office computer. A computer in the lobby for guests to use (with printer) would be a great amenity.

Central location of the hotel is great for going around the city center. I was pleasantly surprised by the variety of food offered for breakfast, esp. because the breakfast was included in the room price. I stayed in an anti-alergy room, and it was big and the bed very comfortable.

There was no noise that could be heard from other rooms, but the hotel is located next to the shipyard warehouses, so take that into account if you're looking for a very peaceful and quiet stay. My room was on the 12th floor, so didn't have issues with that.

The hotel is situated near the very center of Rijeka. Since it is a skyscraper, it also offers an amazing panoramic view. It has a garage with no extra payment. Breakfast is a buffet type and is very abundant. The check-in and check-out were very fast and easy.

There was a little smell in the bathroom, probably from the drain pipes due to (presumably) rare use of the room.

the hotel although old was very clean, well kept, the staff were extreamly helpful. They even found phone chargers for us as we were totally unprepared for the trip (we had been stuck on the highway from ZG to RI in the snow storm).

The only qualms I have is that breakfast finishes at 9:30am and that their lobby bar was not stocked. Other than that we were extreamly happy with our stay.

Great view of the city and harbour and close to everthing. Bathrooms are nice and big with hot water and great water pressure. Rooms are a good size. Staff were great. Undercover parking was nice too.

Some aspects of breakfast were a little disappointing, specifically poor quality and undercooked bacon and too much oil used in cooking, generally. But there were alterantives avilable.

Super friendly and competent staff. Great view over the city. Suberb breakfast! Big room with great shower and amenities, confortable beds, tv with the best channel offer in our travels so far and many english spoken channels which is rare.

Only one elevator was working at the time and a bit slow so we went 7 floors by stairs whenever we wanted to get out. The tool that holds the shower head in the wall was broken.

The hotel is situated near the very center of the town of Rijeka (Fiume). Very important feature of the Hotel "Neboder" is a free-of-charge parking - either in the Hotel's garage or directly in the front of the entrance to the Hotel. The personnel is very kind. Buffet-type breakfast is very abundant. Generally, it was a lovely stay.

Nice room and bathroom. Nice view of Rijeka. The hotel is in a good location and main sites are within walking distance. Staff were friendly and helpful. Overall good experiance.

Breakfast was a little disapointing. Undercooked and poor quality bacon. Too much oil used to cook food. There were alternatives however.

for its low price it s a good hotel. A bit out of time but the central location, the great view, the free parking and the ok breakfast plus the very helpful desk made it for me worth to stay. I would come back here, even...

the street is in the morning a bit noisy and the last renovation was happening probabely a couple of years ago...

We drove up to the hotel and there was primo parking, and we were allowed to leave our car there for 2 days. The staff was very accommodating of all our requests. This is an iconic communist constructivist building was built in 1947. It towers over the entire city. The balconies are large and give you a great view of the city. (make sure you stay on the port side.) The bed was very comfortable, new hardwood floors gave it a clean feeling, and the shower room was acceptable. The breakfast buffet was excellent. The coffee was Nescafe-like, so if you want a real cup go to reception a purchase your espresso. The property was in a perfect location to explore the town and the beaches.

Just like many of the communist era buildings, the renovation is not perfect, e.g. some of the corners show rust, the lifts are a little troublesome (nothing alarming), and the shower is a tiny box. However, see this as an opportunity to experience another era. I suggest you take it.
