Design Hotel Neruda

Super comfy bed, the beautiful atmosphere in an old townhouse, which is worth browsing and admiring its halls. Really good breakfast with a great selection and friendly service. The room itself is super cosy and tastefully designed with respect to the historical building. It was a truly pleasurable stay.

We had a pretty basic room with white walls and sealing, I the room felt big with a lot of space for bags and thrown shoes after long walks. Very nice and variated breakfast witch alternated every day of our stay.

It said spa lounge and relax area with no fee but when we asked they said a pretty hefty price for a jaccuzi and only booking in advance. It said restaurant and bar at the hotel, we maybe misunderstood but that could have been the Cafe-area right next door. We're not sure. AC was nice at the rooms but evet at 5* Celsius (yes we tried to do snow rolling) the room was still a bit to hot for a comfortable sleep.

Large room, very unique hotel, nice breakfast. Very nice staff from front desk to breakfast to cleaning staff, friendly, helpful and professional. Very nice café with excellent coffee and cakes. Enjoyed the location.

Being a "Design Hotel" some of the design is a bit of a hit and miss hodge podge. Our room was huge, but entering you had to be careful not to hit the glass wall making up a half enclosure for the bath area. The closet on the other hand was extremely tiny and squished into a far corner behind the toilet in a glass box... The AC had no chance cooling the cavernous space and the room was rather warm despite cool outside temperatures (opening the windows is always a better solution anyways as long as temperatures are moderate) The Internet connection had wild swings from extremely fast to "not able to connect to server" for most of the time.

The hotel is spotlessly clean. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is exceptional, lots of choice and the homemade cakes each morning were delicious. The room was lovely, good toiletries and coffee / tea making facilities. The shower was great too. The location just under the Prague castle was great. There is a walk up the hill to get there but it helps burn off the calories form the cakes at breakfast. Cannot find anything to fault this hotel for.

Nothing, everything was fantastic here. Wonderful staff and hotel. We were very happy with our choice of hotel and I have stayed in Prague on many occasions. This was hands down the best.

Absolutely gorgeous hotel. The room (standard double with large canvas behind bed) was a great size. The bed was huge and incredibly comfortable. Full Aircon, powerful shower (although as it has a curtain it can leak a little if you're not careful! Fab lighting in the bathroom for makeup (something that annoys me in most hotels!) and large windows opening onto a relatively quiet street. The reception is always manned so you can leave your key with them and the staff are lovely. Made a solo female traveller feel very welcome and safe. The hotel is located just under the Prague Castle (short 3min walk up the hill). At the bottom of the hill are lovely restaurants leading to Charles Bridge and over into Old Town. Be warned the street is very steep and you will definitely want to catch an Uber with luggage from the airport (under £20 and worth every penny). Absolutely recommend and will definitely return!

Tasty breakfast, with proper eggs, super nice location u can walk to to castle and around. We go and free upgrade with bigger room, that was amazing to the view on a street. Very comfy bed, really good for my back.

Air condition was old and was not able to cool down a room so well, also there was a bit noise from corridor so the door to the room should be improved or changed so u wont hear anything. Also shower textile cover was short so water was always on floor.

The bed was comfortable, the staff was very welcoming & helpful, the breakfast had a lot of variety & was delicious, the climate controls were effective. We spent 3 nights on the opposite side of the city & are very glad that we had 2 full days to explore the castle side as well. It is interesting, lots to see & quite different. The staff was very helpful in scheduling a taxi for an early morning trip to the airport.

The bathroom was gigantic but there was very little shelf space for our toiletries.

NIGHT SHIFT worker (can't recall name) was EXCELLENT - so helpful and friendly and welcoming Good breakfast Arranged for a ride to airport at 3am - the driver was prompt and pleasant

Location is great except for the long hill that some people may not like if they have to haul their luggage all the way from the square. I was fine. Light in the room was dim Wish there was a bar in hotel Day shift FRONT DESK clerk behaved like he could not care if I was a guest. Check in was not friendly or welcoming. Not a good first impression. The huge weighted bag attached to room key wouldn't fit in a pocket or purse. It was too heavy.

Breakfast was a good selection of food, but the hot food was always cold even by 8:30 AM. The location of the hotel was amazing- away from the crowd of old town square, but a good short walking distance from all locations. Right underneath the castle. Moreover, it was easier to find pretty street corners without most of the tourist crowd. The design of the hotel was exceptional. Very clean, spotless and suave. The room and view is like a fairytale. The shower was PERFECT. The concrete floor of the shower was not too rough and not slippery either. Water temperature and pressure was perfect. The glasses next to the tap water in the sink was a nice touch. The feedback cards in the room were a great idea, and the color scheme is very pleasant in pastels.

The shower curtain could be washed after every guest leaves, and it could be more spaced out because the curtain easily sticks to the body when bathing. Moreover, the bottom of the curtains have turned yellow and damp, showing that it is not regularly washed and dried. Secondly, there could be someone at the reception who helps carry the luggage up till the elevator, because the stairs are difficult to get through.

The room was very cosy and comfortable, it has everything we need and we felt as in a Honeymoon. The Location was just perfect to reach the city and sightseeings, walking distance, also was easy to reach it from the airport using only public transport. The area is also very nice, not completely in the touristic traffic but also offering a bit more boutique experience. We had wonderful time and looking forward to come again
