MantaHost Hotel

MantaHost, we found our stay with you to be exceptional. We needed a rest and your hotel was a perfect retreat. Starting with the parking staff (free parking) - greeted us with a smile and welcome that stayed with us thoughout our seven day stay. All the staff was amazing - friendly, helpful and professional. The hotel is clean and perfectly located for a stay on the sea. Our room was excellent with a sea view and was always kept clean and spotless by the household staff. Since we stayed for seven days we had the opportunity to eat in the restaurant for every breakfast and lunch. Excellent food well prepared and presented which was made better by a professional dining room staff that was always there to help. We appreciate the time we stayed at MantaHost. Thank you for everything.

We liked everything about Mantahost.

Breakfast was good. Staff very friendly and accommodating. The view is SPECTACULAR and very relaxing and peaceful. The POOL is the main attraction. And the fact that you can relax around it and order food and drinks to the tables there, all with an ocean view - BRILLIANT!

Beautiful location with pelicans flying over the bay.

No tea was provided in the rooms, nor were tissues provided.

I like how personable the staff was. We went there for or 5 year anniversary and got a nice surprise from the hotel after being out all day. We got a card and a fancy plate of cake

Nice enough hotel, good location

felt a bit bamboozled when we checked in . I thought I had booked a room with a balcony and sea view but turned out only sea view and balcony was quite a bit more to get, we paid and it could have ben my fault in making reservation but made me feel a bit bad

the room's location was excellent The staff couldn't have been better They treat you like family, not just another paying customer Gabriel & Andres at the front desk were the very best

I didn't like that hot breakfast had the same thing every day

We stayed in MantaHost for our last day during our visit to Manta. We ended up staying one more day in Manta due to the license plate restrictions imposed by the government for the holidays and we did not want to stay one more day in our prior hotel anymore. Our room was on level 5 with a balcony and an awesome view of the ocean. The room was clean and looked like it was recently remodeled. We wished we would have stayed here for our entire trip to Manta. My wife and I planned an 8-day trip to Manta and originally had booked the MantaHost but we canceled the reservation because (we thought) it was dated due to reviews from other guests so we feared it wouldn’t be a good stay. Big mistake, as we ended up going to another hotel where we were disappointed and we regretted that we canceled the original MantaHost reservation. The restaurant is great, we could enjoy of excellent Ecuadorian food with an amazing ocean view in the balcony. We felt safe here as the restaurant complied with health measures during this pandemic. We will definitely return. The hotel was great.

There is really no beach. But the ocean view makes up for it.

The breakfast is always delicious, they mix the typical food of Ecuador and gourmet food Staff is also kind and worried to give the best attention View is wonderfull

It will be awesome if the had a bathtube or jacuzzi and also de Sauna is not always working They need to have a rewards program for who always stay at this hotel

Overall a very good experience. The food in the restaurant is excellent as are the staff.

The hotel is in need of a facelift. It feels and looks outdated in some areas.
