Tropitel Sahl Hasheesh

Tropitel is one of the best resorts I've stayed at (between 11 to 18 February). A beautiful resort, with lots of greenery, well-kept plants and impeccable lawns. Diversified food and sweets for all tastes, including vegetarians and vegans. The restaurant where meals are served is sufficient for everyone. Fresh and very good fruit. The local drink is good, from all the bars. Very good, quality coffee. Heated pool, beach seats have wind protection and shade. The beach has fine sand. The reception staff is professional, very well trained and ready to help you at any time. The customer service girls were very nice and called us to ask how we were, if we had any problems or if we liked the room. They also helped us with printing boarding passes. We had 2 deluxe rooms overlooking the pool and the sea, very large, thoroughly cleaned daily, and on top of that interconnected through a common door (perfect for families). The staff who cleaned daily very nice, attentive. Every day we had bottled water in the room and figurines made of towels on the bed. Jessica from car rental helped us organize a private tour of Cairo and Luxor for 3 people with a professional guide and driver just for us at a great price. Her office is in the reception hall. I recommend it to benefit from transport in Hurghada, the airport or trips to Cairo and Luxor. We came for the first time on our own in Egypt and we did well, it was better than we could have expected. When leaving, some of the employees led us to say goodbye, including Jessica, who was very nice. We recommend this resort, it is definitely worth it from all points of view.

Great hotel! Definitely worth 5* and high rating. We review it from the perspective of 2+1 family (with a 3-year old) who came to an all inclusive vacation with two more families, and our observations are following. Benefits: - Very clean and well maintained hotel with quite a luxurious feel - Kind and helpful staff, always happy to serve you a drink or help with luggage - Food is amazing! Very diversified, every day you can taste flavours of different cuisine, with a lot of vegan / vegetarian options and sweets - Great offer for kids - nice kids club with shared playground, mini disco (kudos, Regina you rock! :), heated swimming pools (so you can comfortably swim for a long time) - good beach set up with wind-blocking booths and umbrellas, nice pier with access to beautiful and alive reef (you can rent the equipment there and join a snorkelling guide at 10:00, 12:00 or 14:00 to see the deeper reef, or just swim on your own in the shallower area) - decent WiFi is available around almost all hotel, you get 4GB for free - Even during the off season every facility is open - you can use fully equipped gym, hairdresser, mini shopping mall, spa, diving centre with courses and rental, couple of bars All in all, we can definitely recommend Tropitel for everyone!

Things that could be improved: - the pier was closed at 17:00 so there’s no way to hang out there during the sunsets, which are beautiful - too much plastic being used with every cutlery set being packed into a separate bag - quite annoying guys selling excursions and services - you can request “do not disturb” sign and carry it around, but without it you will be bothered often. It’s one thing to show your offer, and another to keep pushing it

everything was perfect for us as family,everything was clean with the best quality, the staff is very friendly, animation team was very lovely and had a lot of activities for adults and kids, the sea is of good snorkeling site

-not a kids friendly beach as you have to walk through a 50 meter bridge to start swimming and won’t be suitable for under 10 kids -despite the high quality of food and the different type of plates but may end up not having a lot of options to eat

1-TV is not on same room level need to be renovated 2-They did not offer to have lunch or provide a lunch box in check out, it would have been a kind gesture 3-Towels are very old especially sea and pool towels 4-Breakfast needs more items to be added and the buffet is closed on 10:30 sharp without alarming the guest if they need anything before closing

The variates of the food, pools and the friendly stuff. All in all it exceeded our expectations and I would like to visit it again.

The beach is not bad but it's not sandy beach that you can swim in it. Anyway the pools were very large and we enjoyed it very much.

We had to book the place at very last minuite, it way exceeded our expectations. The shuttle service was very friendly from the airport to the hotel. The hotel front desk always alert and helpful - we've enjoyed the food and well priced SPA (we did 5 session each of us) we've absolutely loved the choices of the food. The room service always on call, they came and helped us - we've specifically loved how they organised our baby's toys, was very pleasant extra-touch.

The hotel grounds are modern, comfortable and clean. The design of the hotel building is exceptional as you don’t need to walk or climb stairs as there are elevators every where that takes u to any place you need. The chill out pool is vey nice and calm when you need to relax I even had some work to do and it was very nice sitting their. We arrived 3 hours earlier than the check in time, but Mr. Haitham from the reception made our check in in few minutes to start our vacation immediately. The staff are always smiling welcoming and very helpful. Thanks to all the staff in the restaurant specially Mr. Mohamed Sami, Mr. Refaat and the chef in the eggs station in the breakfast. The room is very comfy with an exceptional view the house keeping team was more than perfect. Food was great with a lot of variety, bars was very good. They arranged for our request for late check out till 2pm. We really had an amazing and relaxing vacation would definitely come back again. Thanks to each and every one for making our vacation a memorable one.

Beach was clean and good but unfortunately rocky so you have to use the jetty but this was no problem but we prefer the sandy beach. Pool needs to be extended (if possible) as sometimes it gets a bit crowded. Animation team are nice but some of them needs to be active. Life guards are not very helpful. Snack bar not like other all inclusive hotels but that was no problem as the main restaurant has it all.

- Pool / jacuzzi / waterslides - Cleanliness - Spacious rooms - Drinks (fresh juices & coffee) - Breakfast (specially the croissants / pancakes) - Parking (free & shaded)

- Not able to swim in sea directly from seashore as the water depth is too shallow, one has to walk a long pier. This was our main disappointment in the resort. - Some staff are not professional at all: housekeeping guy kept offering his services and asking questions in an annoying way, just to give him tips; another one at main restaurant was very rude; however staff in reception/bellman/security were very helpful and decent. - Lunch & Dinner were average: although management seem to be spending much on providing good variety, but the quality and taste are not up to level. We believe some minor cooking tips would have made it way better.

Second time there after 5 yeras and it was astonishing how the management team kept the place in the same excellent condition! I think it has even improved, particularly the buffet and the deepwatter swimming/snorkling area. We liked everything there and it has been a very pleasant and enjoyable stay.. We loved every single minute we spent in Tropitel Sahl Hasheesh..

You have to pay extra charges for the Wi-Fi service. I hope the management consider making the internet a basic service for all the guests. It is more important than the TV these days!!

Large comfortable room. Great beach with lots of room and fab staff. Food choices were excellent. Friendly, helpful staff. Well equipped gym. Heated pools were necessary! Second week much quieter but hotel started work on several areas (Mexican restaurant and childrens' area) none of which affected us. Guest relations eager to hear feedback.

First night door slamming (other guests so not hotel's fault); food a bit lukewarm but picked up as time went on; first week quite busy (our fault as we chose to arrive on 5 January)
