This hotel is excellent. Reception was friendly and efficient. We had a room on the top floor with a view to the sea. We enjoyed the happy hour with a glass of wine free for Hilton Club members. The evening meals available in the bar area were reasonably priced and excellent. The bar staff were friendly and efficient. Breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of choice. The rooms were comfortable although I prefer a walled bathroom, rather than glass door shower and toilet cubicles with the hand basin in the main entry. There was no privacy or sound insulation. Stupid design really.

The hotel is difficult to find. There are absolutely no signs. Considering 90% of guests probably drive into Torshavn from the airport, wouldn’t it be smart to install signage to help guests find the hotel. The hotel design is also bizarre with reception around the back from the road. The hotel is located in a commercial area, well out of the centre of Torshavn, a good 25 minutes walk away downhill. Btw, I’m from Australia, not HongKong as shown by Booking.com

Incredibly loving, courteous and attentive staff which leaves nothing to be desired. At this point I would like to particularly emphasize the staff of the restaurant and the bar, who really do everything to ensure that the stay is unforgettable. The food in the Hallartun restaurant is just as Champions League level as the drinks offered at the bar. Really great. The room was very spacious with all the amenities you could imagine (Fridge, hair-dryer and even an iron with an ironing board). The city center can be easily reached from the hotel.

It is understandable that the hotel or the restaurant also attracts many locals who want to enjoy the wonderfully delicious dishes. But on some days, as a hotel guest, especially looking back at the breakfast, you had the feeling that "local guests", who were already there at 6am or 7am, enjoyed the buffet more than hotel guests, who perhaps slept an hour or two longer and then tend to get less. Please don't get me wrong: The team always tried very hard to fill everything up quickly, but in some unfortunate situations it was the case that as a hotel guest who slept late, you had to wait a little longer for one thing or the other.

The staff were very helpful. Ok shower…….Bed quite comfy and good pillows. Fridge was good. Excellent lamb shank meal on first night. Good choice at breakfast…….although coffee could have been better quality. Little shop okay.

Lack of reading lights………the side lights were useless. Larger shower and loo would help.. The mirror was on the wrong side of the hanging space as you stared at your clothes in the room. Style over substance! Impossible to fully close the curtains without light coming in. Either provide blackout blinds or eye masks. No coffee bags in room which we have had in every room since!…….and insufficient milk. Provide REAL coffee and a cafetière or a coffee machine. Not even provided with a shower cap!!

The facilities were good overall, breakfast was very good with lots of choices, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was spacious and clean. Overall very nice spacious rooms. Also the lobby is nicely decorated. We also tried the spa, which has a nice outdoor jacuzzi, and a sauna. A bit overpriced for only 1 hour use but we enjoyed it. The hotel is not very close to the city centre and we didn't have our rental car anymore but it still has very good connections with the buses to the centre.

We asked for a room with a nice view and got a room that was facing the back car parking... so no nice view there haha. Also, the second night we couldn't really sleep (we had to get up early for our flight) as there was a private party downstairs in the restaurant of the hotel and they played very loud music until at least 1 in the morning and we were right above the restaurant with our room. The receptionist did everything she could but she had to ask the restaurant manager many times to lower the music... First time this happens to me in a 4 star hotel.. But, they made it up by offering us the breakfast for free. So overall in the end we were not so mad about it ;) they should find a solution though for parties in the restaurant and rooms that are close to it ...

The hotel is conveniently located near town and all the major roads to adventure around the Faroes. The hotel staff was probably some of the nicest people I have ever encountered at a hotel reception. The food was delicious at the hotel restaurant, the beds were comfortable and clean, and I especially loved the separate shower (that was quite large) and toilet closet. I will be staying here again when I return to the Faroe Islands in September!

The hotel is new and very well equipped. It's about a 25 minute walk to the centre of Torshavn, which is where all the good restaurants are. Our room was big and (important in summer in the Faroes) had extra thick curtains to block out the daylight. It also had lots of USB charging ports. Car parking is free. There is a washing machine and dryer, which are free for guests to use. The gym was small, but had decent equipment. There was also a hot tub, although we didn't try that. There was a separate toilet and shower, but the washbasin is in the main room. We didn't find this a problem, but some might. The buffet breakfasts are excellent. The staff are the best thing about this hotel- nothing is too much trouble for them.

There wasn't much storage space in the room, apart from an open-sided cupboard to hang clothes in. For guests staying for more than a couple of days, this might be an issue.

Breakfast was great-lots of choices and staff were helpful in explaining items I questioned. Parking good but coming around the corner to the parking was interesting due to the narrowness of the passage Easy access to town and other roads

We could not control the heat in the room even with the window open it was too hot in the night. Closing the window meant it was too hot for the duvet

There were many things we liked and enjoy our stayed very much. The rooms were nicely decorated and felt very warm. The beds were very comfortable. We had a view of the city/sea and were at the highest level. Very beautiful view of the landscape. The staff was also very friendly but we felt that way about Faroe in general :) Also, after looking at many hotels, we felt that this one was the best value for what you get. So it really exceeded our expectations and felt economical for the perks. Breakfast was also a big +++ And the bar cocktails.

We liked everything but please note you have drive/taxi to Torshavn if you have dinner plans there. We knew this going in so be mindful of that if you drink alcohol, etc.

Service was great. Room was big and comfortable. The hotel provided free on-site parking as well so its good for travellers with cars. Nearby, there's a mall and a supermarket (A Handil) where you can easily get supplies and food. The hotel had a laundry room as well (with a washing machine and dryer) which is very convenient for travellers whom have been on the road for a very long time.

The hotel looks fantastic on the outside until you go up to the rooms. Everything looks new but they just don't seem ready yet for guests. The AC units in the room does not work, we are given a tiny fan and we have to open the window to ensure air circulation within the room. The partition between the bathroom area and the beds were badly done. There was no complete way of blocking the bathroom area so if you're travelling with random strangers, this would be really awkward. The hotel should definitely work on improving the hardware.. this is not anywhere close to Hilton standards.

Very nice hotel, good location within 20 min walk to downtown. Professional and helpful staff, clean and comfortable room. Very good breakfast, excellent food at restaurant and nice bar. Gym and sauna.

It's a bit strange planned toilet and bathroom. They're separated and to get clothed or wash your hands you need to go out from the shower room. The door to the toilet isn't very suitable for toilet itself. But it was ok anyway.
