Santa Claus Holiday Village

The property was spacious and clean with good amenities. The room was large enough for a family of 4 with a pull out sofa bed. Exactly as described on its website. Pictures on the website don’t do the accommodation justice, it’s really nice and comfortable with lovely underfloor heating throughout. Each cottage had its own Christmas Tree outside which was really nice. The whole area was well lit and nicely lit with different colours. It was a short walk to the main reception and Santa Claus Village. You were dropped off & picked up to/from your room from the airport. All activities & excursions were close by within Santa Claus Village. Hotel reception are excellent when communicating via email prior to arrival. They always reply quickly and are extremely helpful and are able to give lots of information. There is thermal clothing that you can hire from reception, if needed. Bed & Breakfast was excellent with lots of choice at Breakfast and the restaurant was nice and spacious. Highly recommended staying here to visit Santa with Children, there is loads for them to do.

Food Choice in Three Elves Restaurant was very limited, especially for children. It was also expensive compared to food premises close by. The hotel could have provided a better map of the location and things to do in Santa Claus Village. It was only by exploring we came across new things.

The location, the landscape, the Christmas activities, the family atmosphere, and the staff.

Breakfast was very disappointing, and there was not any shampooing, conditioner or body lotion. The price we’ve paid for the staying was high enough to have those things, at least. The kitchen in the apartment needs renovation.

Unfortunately extra beds for kid was super uncomfortable, especially when you pay quit extra price for it :(

The people were so amazing and sweet, they were willing to do everything for you. Keep this up!! The people are really incredible! The service was also exceptional, the privilege that we were picked up at our room and drove to the airport was so delightful! 😍

We discussed and we both hadn't any dislikes about the place or irritation of fruststions. Feedback: the photos at the website are a bit outdated. We looked at the pictures online but when we arrived at the place it exceeded the photos we saw. So maybe update the photos of your village because it is so lovely and deserves more!

The 3 Elves Restaurant was very good with great customer service and lovely food. Location is excellent, walk to all the attractions at the Arctic Circle. Great little kitchenette in the cabin!

The breakfast buffet was certainly not up to the standard of the rest of our experiences in the village.

We stayed in a cottage and of course the best thing about it is the location. It's right in the Santa Claus village with all the attractions. The room was a good size, clean and sauna in the bathroom was a great bonus. Staff in the whole resort are extremely friendly and helpful, that definitely added to the whole experience. Oh, and a free bus to/from the airport is also very convenient. Breakfast was fine, although really crowded at times.

The beds are really not good, very light so they move as you move, thin matress, messy covers. I'm not a big person and my son is 8 so we're quite light and weren't really comfortable. I have no idea how a bigger man can sleep comfortably on these...

This is for my kids ad me - a dream place. Everything there is dreamy, from every magic place of our soul. Yes - extreemly expensive, but i guess its a "once in a lifetime". This place is a dream come true, and i just love Santa, we all do!

We arrived very late at night, me and my two kids (9 and 6).. We barely made it to dinner in Three Elfs. When I wanted to pay with 500 euro bill, they made a big sceene. In my bank i asked for bigger bills because i like to carry money close to me, and i diidnt know what will i experience. The waiter said that in his life he NEVER saw 500 euro bill, and he took ot to reception. Then two ladies discussed for an hour about this catastrophy, and even said that it is illegal to have that. And I was alone, with my two kids and i guess without the money.... Scared and dicuraged i went to gas station for a milk, and this older guy was very nice, he just calm me and said - go to the bank or post office. We are seeing that often.... Dont worry... This was so low point for me.

Good sized cabin for our small family. Very fast WIFI. Parking next to the cabin (easy unloading). Cabin is literally in the Santa Village area with close access to play grounds. Good breakfast. Good sauna. Staffs were very very friendly. Location is quite nice to see aurora, although during our stay, it was very cloudy. Take note that their aurora cabin (with glass ceiling) is close by, so technically you have the same spot/ view to see the aurora as those cabins (you just need to step outside)

Kitchen was very basic and small. Shower liquid soap were finished. Bed was not that comfortable for us especially the sofa bed.

The Superior Cabin was clean, spacious and comfortable. The private sauna in the bathroom was fantastic after a day out. The wait staff were excellent - big shout out to Brigida, who was very friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere of the Santa Claus village was nice even though it was summer. The live webcam in the square was a great - we told family and friends when we'd be there and they all enjoyed the experience.

Reception staff were a bit abrupt. We had our luggage delayed due to flight delays and a short connection. When we asked if they would notify us of our bags' arrival we were told 'No.' We were expected to just keep checking with reception. Luckily they arrived the next morning and were there when I checked after breakfast. Also, not the place to stay if you don't have a car. Our cabin was way down the back and it was difficult to manage rolling luggage over loose gravel. Transport is very infrequent, so do what we did the next day and rent car. By the way, 'summer' in Rovaniemi is like a cold winters day in Sydney, Australia.

Oh wow, this cute cabin came with a Christmas tree on the balcony! The cabin was very cute and made me feel very relaxed and comfortable. Mini kitchen was great as I could store some food for lunch and make a morning coffee. Sauna in the cabin was a nice touch too. The restaurant attached to the accommodation was great also. Was good to be able to see things and then go back to the cabin, recharge and then go out exploring again. If you are going to visit here I recommend staying. We also saw the northern lights from outside the cabin!

The cabins are a pair attached to one another. The sound travels, not only can you hear your neighbour walking around at night but I could hear their alarm in the morning and them talking etc. The photos to what I got were different in the room. I got old lights that were nothing special but in the photos, the lights are antlers. You need to change the photos.
