Campanile Annecy Centre - Gare

the reception staff were very friendly and helpful. they welcomed us when we arrived on the first day and were friendly throughout our visit. we had water leaking from the shower (I think it was due to a very large gap between the bath and the glass panel, but made the bathroom floor very slippy) and they moved us to another immediately. it was a slightly bigger room and away from the front street so suited us much better!

The breakfast area is too small to cater for some of the large groups the hotel seems to have. On wet mornings more guests came down for breakfast, something we did once. The waitress just couldn’t cope and was quite grumpy about all the people queuing up. When we finally got in there was very little food available, which made things worse. We didn’t really get a full breakfast that day but had to pay for it.

Location was great. Very close to old town and the lake area, and also within easy walking distance of shops and restaurants. The room we had was reasonably large and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was pretty good for a smallish hotel. Staff were very polite and helpful.

The room could have had more storage facilities ( drawers and wardrobes ) but as it was pretty big this wasn't a problem. Some street noise, particularly early in the morning from workers in the streets nearby eg the bin collection people !

Very good location, walking distance to the lake and center, decent room size, typical French breakfast style with sweet options, reception staff very nice and friendly speaking good English. Parking is right next to the hotel and is very cheap. Next to train station

upon our arrival we found out that beds were not changed as there were plenty of hair from previous guest plus the bin in the toilet was still full. The girl at the reception was kinds to prepare the room for us immediately. We did not get any recognition for this inconvenience. Our room was next to housing keeping room and every morning 6 am it was getting very loud. Breakfast consists of only sweet things mostly. We spent 4 nights in the hotel and it would be nice to see some vegetables and boiled eggs at minimum.

Nice hotel close to the train station and city center. Big and modern family room. Friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast. They were extremely nice to let us do a late checkout at no charge. Welcome pack for our daughter that made her very happy.

No mini-fridge in the room. Limites shelves to put our things.

Clean and functional with good aircon. Rooms on small side but everything well set out to maximise the space. Great location for easy access to Annecy old town and to the train station and only 5 mins walk to the lake. Good value for money (in context of Annecy being really pricey in high season). We had two teenagers in different room and they placed us in rooms next to each other. Lovely breakfast with patio garden to sit in. Staff were super helpful and re-assured us that we could be late on check-in (after train delay) as desk is 24 hours. They also looked after our luggage for us the next day while we waited to check in to an apartment. Would absolutely use Campanile hotels again after this.

Lift very small but no different from other similar hotels (one person at a time!).

I stayed in a family room. it’s big enough to open 2 big luggages at the same time. There are 3 small chairs, desktop workspace and 1 sofa. The bathroom is spacious. Location is very near to Annecy Gare Routiere less than 5 mins walk. It is also near to the attractions and old town. Even if I was staying on the 1st floor facing the street, I don’t hear much noise from the outside.

Not a big deal. We had big lugggages so there are at least 6 steps going up before reaching the reception so we had to carry it. Glad that there’s a small elevator after reception that can fit 1 person + luggage. Since Campanile is an old hotel, they still use carpets on the floor which is dirtier compared to tiles/wood.

Very clean and modern inside, also in a great location just near the station so perfect if you have lots of luggage but also in easy walking distance to the lake and heart of Annecy. Staff were super welcoming, we arrived early in the morning and couldn’t check in yet but later in the afternoon when we returned they had taken our bags up to our room for us which was a lovely touch:))

The hotel is very well located, just 3 minutes from the train station and 5 minutes from the city center. It was very clean, the towels were changed every day, although we did not leave them on the floor.

Although the bathroom is very large, we didn't have a shelf where we could put our cosmetics. The bathroom does not have a fan or ventilation and after every shower steam is made.

Location was perfect, very close to bus and train station and a lovely short walk to the old town. Lots of bars, restaurants, bakeries and a grocery shop close by.

More tea and coffee supplies in room. Had to ask at reception for more. Towels in bathroom weren't very soft.

I like that the location is very near the bus and train station but also 10 mins walk to old town. Receptionists are helpful and greets you everytime you pass by them. When we checked-out, we had to kill time before our bus departure to Lyon so we left our luggage and bought lunch in a restaurant. Since the reception area is really small, they allowed ua to eat it in the dining area. We disposed our garbage outside properly. if you prefer not to have breakfast and didn’t get to use the dining area, you won’t see their beautiful courtyard.

There is 1 male receptionist that asked me for city tax payment when it’s already included in Booking.com. He asked me to pay € 1.15/pax when city tax is just € 1.10/pax. I paid via credit card but as soon as I brought my things in the room I had to re-check. it was indeed included so I went down to ask for cash refund. There’s a new male staff when I went down (maybe that is his shift already). Different from the staff when I checked in. He returned excess payment in cash. Satisfied!
