Sure Hotel by Best Western Biarritz Aeroport

The bed, pillows and quilt covering were all very comfortable. The room was quiet and I was able to sleep well. The lady on reception and the staff in the restaurant/bar were helpful and friendly. The restaurant/bar area and terrace were attractive, particularly the large terrace surrounded by shrubs and trees (a proper haven given the hotel's location near the airport and surrounding roads).

I arrived at the hotel as a pedestrian, from the Biarritz Airport bus stop. The bus stop is only eight minutes' walk or so from the hotel, but there is no sign for the hotel. I needed to use Google Maps to find my way. That was not a problem, but some people might find it a challenge. Better signs for pedestrians would be a help. I expect that most hotel guests arrive by car, but there must be some other pedestrians as well.

First of all, after booking the accommodation I enquired how to get there. They send me an email explaining exactly which bus I have to take and where to get off. Once I had arrived they explained everything in English and were really nice and welcoming. The room even had a small kettle, which is not to be taken for granted, as a lot of hotels in Europe don't offer that. It was very clean and comfy. I didn't use the tv, but it had one. It had an AC as well. The bus number 36 goes directly to the city centre. It is only a 5 min walk to the airport.

Nothing that I can think off

The staff were lovely and always obliging. The rooms were spotless and pretty much everything you needed was there and ready for use. We were only there for one night, but it was enjoyable.

The parking was confusing first of all - but once we had found a secure spot, it was fine. We had asked for the rooms to be together and were given 70 and 71 - so all looked good, except when we went up to the rooms - they were actually a long way from each other. It was an honest mistake and wasn't a problem in the end. The toilet didn't flush very well.

The hotel is an easy 5 minute walk from the airport, very quiet, very clean, staff tremendously helpful. Restaurant and bar on premises with good quality. Convenient to bus connections. Even so close to the airport, so quiet!

The room was a bit small, but we’ll appointed with modern decor. Wasn’t a problem, but I’m on the small side. The dinner menu offers 2 or 3 courses. À la carte items would have been a welcomed option.

My room and the bed and bedding in particular were very comfortable. The hotel is also very close to the terminal of Biarritz Airport, no more than a six or seven minute walk. Very convenient for staying close to the airport the night before an early flight. The bar and restaurant (plus outdoor terrace) are also attractive and comfortable.

Very nice hotel, 10 mins walk from the airport in a quiet area. Staff were very pleasant, we were a bit early and our room wasn't ready so we were upgraded to a better one. The room wasn't too big, but it was clean, quiet and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was amazing, lots of choices which were constantly replenished. There is a bus 5 mins walk which gets to Biarritz centre-beach in 20 mins. Great choice of hotel for either a short or long stay

fantastic team at the hotel. great welcome. happy to help with our special requests for early check in and to stock our bags after check out (while waiting for evening flight). strongly recommend this hotel for easy walking access to airport. plus MyCars car rental is located next to the hotel and they also offered us great service. very good breakfast too.

Good value for money. It is clean, comfortable (although basic) and with a good breakfast. Staff are very helpful

It is indeed close to the airport, but distant to city center. It was not a problem for us, as we came by car, but without it, the location can be challenging

Proximity to the airport is very good. The bed was really comfortable.

The gluten free bread was mixed in amongst gluten containing breads and there was only a single set of serving tongs. So a serious risk of cross contamination. Similarly there was only on set on tongs to serve both meat and cheese.

Good location for Wheels and Waves event , good main road right by the hotel A810 , no real problem with the airport right next door , lovely room with air conditioning , easy parking , nice breakfast , cereal,juices , coffees , cheese , meats , croissants, yogurts , scrambled eggs , bacon , very good .

Nothing really , except a pool !
