Brit Hotel Le Galion & Spa

Good size bedrooms and decent size shower room. Staff, friendly, spoke some English, which was very helpful to us. We met 3 different receptionists and all very pleasant. On our 2nd night, Andrea gave us the name of a restaurant 5 minute drive from the hotel. She booked a table for us. (Good call) Food was lovely great atmosphere too. On our 1st night, Julien told us that there were no restaurants near to the hotel but suggested we drive to the Quay, 5 minutes away, and there would be a selection of bars and restaurants. We had really tasty, very large pizzas in one of the restaurants there. Staff were all male who worked very quickly and efficiently. Free car parking by the Quay was a bonus, too. At the Hotel, Security was also good. Gates to carpark and main Hotel Entrance automatically locked at 22:00hrs. We were given a code should we arrive later than this.

Coffee was far too strong and bitter. (told that this is how it is served!) No English Breakfast tea was available, but plenty of other flavours were so one of our group had to go without. There is not enough selection of spirits on offer at the bar. ie: no Baileys, Tia Maria, Kalua, etc., Shame that there was no tea & coffee available in our rooms, which ARE offered in Travel Lodge and Premier Inn in the UK!

Our room was of excellent size, but had no fridge or safe. a bigger issue is road access into this hotel. The Booking.com route & map did NOT work for us a 3pm on a Sunday afternoon. The main access is a short detour through a small business park. This access information need updating !!!!!!!!

Good value functional hotel, helpful staff, good breakfast

On the V4 véloroute. Secure indoor cycle storage. Helpful staff.

Cleaned and sound proof. Comfortable bed and good breakfast.

Everything was good

Efficient and friendly, good location on edge of town and despite location on a roundabout/commercial area it was quiet.

Carpets need deep clean/replacing in areas. Our shower doors were not working with ease. If we spoke French then we might have been able to use the wifi?

The staff was helpful although not super fluent in English.

It was outside of the town. One has to drive in order to get to any restaurant.

as it was hot these past days, and as the hôtel was not fitted with AC, I kept the window open. Unfortunatly someone upwind was smoking and of course the smoke was reaching my Area.

Hotel is far from restaurants, so for lunch or diner you need to walk a lot. it May be acceptable in Summer, but during winter it Will be more difficult.

Helpful staff. Good service. Better than average room and bathroom.
