Auberge du Vieux Château

Beautiful, picturesque and quiet, with stunning views overlooking Provence and Côte d’Azur. Comfortable bed and a nice and tidy bathroom. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was lovely, and so was dinner at the restaurant. We had a wonderful time. The town itself is very charming and have a couple additional options for food, but I would recommend traveling by car if you want to see more of the beautiful surrounding areas. Parking was very easy.

The Restaurant

As beautiful as the location was, it was remote! You definitely need a car to get around. Also, the stairs leading up to the rooms are not for the elderly. There are no lifts . Carrying the luggage upstairs was not easy!!

Everything was perfect. The room was good with good bed. The restaurant was very nice with delicious and memorable breakfast and dinners. The staff was serviceminded and knowledgeable. The view from the esplanade was wonderful especially to be able to see far away to the sea and the mountains. to just sit and relax with the panorama in front of you.

That there were no slippers for the floor is of stone and cold especially during the winter period.

We loved the location,and the town of cabris is beautiful. Loved our meal at your restaurant, and I would highly recommend it to friends. And a big thank you to cirl for his prompt reply to my emails.

The hotel is charming, the room was really lovely with an amazing view. Book the room 10 for 2 guests, you won't be disappointed ! The bed is super comfortable. The restaurant is AMAZING, exactly what we like : super fresh and quality products extremely well prepared, with no fuss but a real sense of taste. A fabulous table !

Since it is an old village house, it can be a little bit noisy in the hotel corridor, but nothing serious really.

This hotel has a unique setting high above the plain, its restaurant standing in a lovely garden outside the castle gates. Having our breakfast there under a clear blue sky has been a special memory of our holiday.

A really comfortable hotel with fantastic staff (we arrived during a thunderstorm on bicycles and one of the staff rushed out into the rain to help us unpack!). Our room (#10) had an amazing view right out to the Mediterranean. The hotel has an excellent restaurant - not cheap but good value given the quality and excellent service.

Charging 16 euro each for pre-lunch cocktails is excessive and unnecessary in a small village like Cabris.

We had a nice & comfortable room with our own terrace. The restaurant food was absolutely superb and the view from the hotel was magnificent. Overall a most wonderful experience. A must visit place !.

Magnificent views from the hotel. Cyril the hotel manager ensured that we had a fabulous dining experience at both his restaurant and others he recommended in the area. Cannot thank him enough for making our stay very special.

Unfortunately no breakfast was served at the hotel the day we were there. Maybe it was informed about this on the website but we missed it. There are otherwise one or two cafes in the village that are open for breakfast.
