Great breakfast with homemade Jams. Nice selection of food, tea, coffee and water available all of the time at no extra cost. Hazel and Jay were very warm, friendly, flexible, helpful and attentive, helping out with restaurant bookings, washing and anything else we asked for. Victor the Dog is very easy going and accepted our dog without complaint.

Room was a bit small and as it was in lower ground floor it was difficult to dry towels clothes etc. (Fresh towels were provided without question). The room was a bit humid and warm making sleeping difficult. The room might benefit from air con or maybe a dehumidifier.

I cannot think of enough nice things to say about Jay and Hazel and their lovely B&B. We booked at the last minute and they accepted and accommodated us immediately. The room was perfect, the bathroom was nice and newly renovated with an amazing shower. The bed was super comfortable, and everything was so serene and quiet. We were there for two nights and the breakfast each morning was the perfect addition. I’m vegan and when Hazel found out she went to the store and picked up extra items so I could enjoy a full and delicious breakfast as well. We also had a wedding and Jay very nicely offered to iron our wrinkly clothes for us which was so great of him. Would highly recommend staying here to anyone looking for a beautiful village, great people, and amazing comfort!

Nothing. Everything was great.

Stay here, the village is enchantingly beautiful and you stay right in the middle of it. But even better than that the hotel is of flawless quality and charm, with a great deal of intelligence put into making your stay perfect. However, even though the village and hotel are remarkable the hosts outshine them. Just utterly lovely, talented, tasteful and all this focused on making your stay easy and wonderful. (The carpets and rugs are hand made!) Thank you Hazel and Jay, this was the best place we have ever stayed.

THE most perfect location, on the riverside in one of the most beautiful villages in France. If that's not enough then add the most charming, interesting, welcoming hosts you could meet, a bowl of water ready for our dog and some doggie towels, the most pristine room we have ever stayed in, fantastic bed with gorgeous linens, huge, fluffy towels for when you step out of the roomy state of the art shower, help yourself hot drinks and the pièce de résistance: BREAKFAST!! Viennoiseries, toast, fresh bread rolls, yogurt, cereals, ham, cheese, home made conserves and a plate of fresh fruit including cherries, blueberries, lemon, apricots.... Need I say more?? Then there is the village itself, gorgeous old buildings full of history, a lovely green park by the river and a fantastic brasserie serving fabulous food, which is literally across the road from La Ruche.

We couldn't stay longer!

Everything was good. The owners have made this middle-aged house into a cosy bed and breakfast. The rooms are very comfortable and very clean. The beds are great. I booked 2 rooms. Both were very good. We slept both very well. The breakfast is good and the owners are great people who do everything to make it comfortable for you. The little town with 201 citizens is so beautiful to joy. The view at the castle is idyllic.

This small bed and breakfast is in a 18th century fully restored character dwelling in the most delightful village of Segur le chateau The owners were extremely hospitable and had thought of everything. Exceptionally clean and a wonderful breakfast provided

Nothing to not like.

Amazing Bed and Breakfast in Ségur-le-chateau. The room is large and well equipped. The bathroom has an italian shower and the shower gel is provided. There were a lot of options for breakfast and the hosts are very friendly and welcoming.

Everything was perfect

Everything about La Ruche is exceptional. The owners are lovely, the rooms were delightful, the breakfast was fabulous with lots of fresh fruit and home made jam, but best of all is the location. I had a room overlooking the chateau and my sons overlooked the delightful garden. Oh and I must mention the fabulous huge fluffy towels!

There is nothing not to like.

Segur Le Chateau is positively medieval, and this property fits right in. The setting for La Ruche can’t be beat…bucolic and right outta the 12th century. See this town and stay here. It’s clean, comfortable, very reasonably priced, and staffed by two delightful people.

We loved everything!! the place, the owners, the dogs, everything was perfectly prepared. when we woke up there was a delicious breakfast waiting for us! everything was PERFECT!
