Campanile Hotel Compiegne

The hotel was easy to find: we used Google maps. The staff were very friendly and spoke some English. The room was compact and clean but sufficient for our needs and had a bath/shower which was nice to see. There was plenty of parking. It was located slightly out from the town centre but there is a free bus service from Monday to Saturday into Compiegne, the bus stop( Bus #1) is a few minutes walk along the road from the hotel. On Sundays, the parking is free in the Town Centre. The buffet breakfast was good value for money. However times are different over the weekend to weekdays, breakfast finishing at 9.00am instead of 10.00am. hotel bar stayed open to a reasonable time and had space to sit outside. Compiegne is a pretty town.

It was as described. Slightly bigger room would have been good. Breakfast times leaflet in bedrooms.

There was a good choice at breakfast and the fresh bread and croissant were delicious. The staff were friendly and helpful. It was quiet and the forest and a lovely park easy to walk to in a few minutes. The free bus service stops nearby and takes you to the centre if town. The dinners were good and reasonably priced.

You could only get a pizza at the weekends.

Good breakfast, comfortable clean beds. Parking near our room suitable for car with roof box and ease of unloading. Our dog could stay.

Had to pay around 5 euros for tourist tax for our dog when each adult was around 2 euros. An irritation only but the only town we had to pay dog tourist tax for.

After a long drive, it was good to find the Motel near the University as the quiet rooms were separated from the main building, which was away from the city. The reception was friendly and efficient and the light dinner was adequate followed by a typical French breakfast in the morning.

It was a Motel not a Hotel!

We stayed for one night either side of our trip to Disneyland. The staff were always so welcoming and helpful. We took food to our room on the second stay and it was lovely! Cannot recommend this hotel enough

Very clean and modern, lovely size, very comfy bed and great shower. Small little park outside for kids. Great selection for breakfast and had a very nice pizza in the evening. Plenty of parking and lovely quiet location.

Excellent overnight stop driving back to Calais Manager/reception/kitchen - excellent Good value for money and were able to adapt menu for vegetarian meal for children 👍

Close to main motorway so was ideal. Nice grassy area close to the hotel for our dog to run around. Pleasant relxed area, close to Pierrefonds castle.

The newly-refurbished 80s style motel was clean, comfortable and quiet. The bed were very comfortable and breakfast was very good.

The rooms are small, but the furniture is practically arranged.

Friendly staff, car parked in front of own front door, no noise, easy reach of motorway, good beds and shower.
