Sheraton Bordeaux Airport

Excellent hotel in all respects. Exceptional breakfast.

Lack of shuttle from airport to hotel. A 15 min walk.

The hotel is obviously still very new. It is spotlessly clean, spacious and welcoming

The large comfortable rooms have aircon but similar to many other hotels this is mostly ineffective, while it reduces the temperature a bit it certainly isn’t that effective and every time you leave the room you have to reset the reduction in temperature. It’s set to 22.5 deg as default which I find too warm for sleeping. The hotel could not provide a fan. There are no opening windows in the room. Breakfast was a mess. The tables were left uncleared, the coffee machine wasn’t working. There were very few food options available. Very poor value for money.

Really spacious and comfortable room. Lots of tech in room. Large Shower room. Excellent mattress and good television. Good coffee machine and bottle of water in room upon arrival. Good breakfast choices and quality. Proximity to the airport.

No glasses in Shower room for rinsing teeth. The towels were very small. No bath, just a shower (albeit it a fabulous one)!No milk/creamers provided for the in-room tea and coffee. The newly completed hotel doesn't have a shuttle to the airport, taxis find picking up from there confusing and the walk is a 15 minutes to the airport and the pavemt for pedestrians is not well indicated at all.

The hotel is 10 minute's walk from Bordeaux airport - and the hotel offers a shuttle every half an hour (on request). The beds were extremely comfortable. The rooms were spotless, and very well soundproofed. The design of the bathroom was great. The service for the bar menu was excellent We also enjoyed using the sauna (limited to 5 people at a time)

The plastic packaging used for the sachets of milk, in the bedroom, could have been more eco-friendly (perhaps a small jug with a stopper in the fridge instead?). The complimentary water bottles were tiny. The swimming pool was a lot smaller than I had anticipated.

For an airport hotel it was fine, though when we booked, a part of us thought with the name “Sheraton”, perhaps the decor materials would be a little nicer. The staff at the front desk were pleasant and helpful!

Had to leave at 4:00 a.m. to catch a 6:20 flight. It was supposedly a 5 minute walk, though it wasn’t while lugging suitcases. The street lights were out on a large part of the way, making the route hazardous. That is not Sheraton’s fault, though that affects our thought on staying at that location.

The room was huge! So comfortable and clean. For a while we had the roof top pool to ourselves. Everything felt luxurious. The location is perfect for an early flight which was the case for us. This hotel in another location (I.e. beach) would cost a lot more!

My only issue was that there wasn’t enough milk in the room for my tea and there were no cartoon channels in English for the children (only two news channels in English). Unfortunately when we went the Jacuzzi bubbles were not working but it was still lovely and warm - other than that it was perfect.

Lovely hotel. Very large and great proximity to the airport. The room was large and was well maintained. The staff were very helpful.

The sat nav kept taking us away from the hotel. It seems that the address does not match the location. The hotel has put up small signs to help find your way there. It would have been VERY useful if we had know this prior to travel. The last 10 mins of our journey were particularly frustrating. Best advice - look out for the small white hotel signs and follow them rather than your sat nav!

The difficulty in actually reaching the hotel - we could see it but not work out how to get in to it. Newly constructed and unclear entry points from surrounding roads - needs urgent attention we think. All staff were extremely helpful and friendly - professional in all respects. Restaurant staff were delightful, extremely friendly and professional - hats off to the chef and his team - a beautifully prepared and presented meal - quality of food excellent. Service timing was achieved through the staff's watchful attention to our progress throughout the evening with good timing and flawless timing. When finished the hotel will be an even more fantastic place to stay.

There are obviously some construction and landscaping to be completed and some smaller fixing in rooms perhaps e.g. panel beneath bathroom sink not securely attached. While the design and furnishings are quite beautiful perhaps some softening / warmth could be achieved with soft furnishings especially, in the rooms? Just a thought.

Everything was of a high standard..great room friendly helpful staff very clean and comfortable. We ate in the bistro..good food and a nice alternative if you don't want to use the more formal restaurant. We saw the rooftop pool which was gorgeous...didn't swim this time but would on another occasion. Good value for money.

Access to the hotel.We parked in P2 Airport parking and walked to the hotel along a precarious uneven footpath along the road until we got to a path to the hotel.

The room was large, beautiful and comfortable. The amount of breakfast choices was amazing.

The restaurant menu was very poor and limited and offered no vegetarian options. When I asked a member of staff about this he was very unfriendly and abrupt with his response. Some items (grapefruit) offered for breakfast were clearly from the previous day and not fresh. The area around the hotel is still under construction requiring us to take a detour to walk to the airport terminal.
