Easy parking. Clean. This is a simple but functional hotel, with a nice breakfast and reception area. Friendly staff. But definitely no thrills. Well located half way between La Rochelle and the pleasant beaches to the south.
No small fridge to chill water or to keep food in - we suggest adding this would enhance significantly comfort of customers in hot weather. Note the bus service to La Rochelle stops early, around 8.30pm, so does not work if you wish to have dinner there. You definitely need a car to use this hotel. However we did not find parking in La Rochelle to be a problem. We used the large car park at the top end of the park - there is a very pleasant walk from there through the park down to the harbour. However after midday we noticed town centre car parks were full.

We booked a double ensuite room for one night. Room and shower room both good standard and comfortable. We were surprised that the hotel restaurant does not open at the weekend. But the member of staff on duty was very helpful and set up a table in the bar for us to eat a 'picnic' of bread/cheese/fruit. We were grateful for his kindness. Good location for travellers as hotel is near to the main route west.

Clean, very efficient, convenient for La Rochelle exactly what we needed. Booked via the Booking.com app at 15.00 hrs, checked in at 18.30, took no more than 5 minutes, very nice and efficient staff. So convenient.
