Le Basile Hôtel

Very nice and very clean hotel with interesting consept to keep our earth clean ! We stayed in this hotel for a week and feeled ourself like at home. Comfortable bed and pilows, small room, but with enaugth place for everything. Amazing water flow in shower. Good breakfast . Very close to the center , 20-3O minutes to the Luvre , Place de Concord, Opera and other interesting places. Metro station just a few minutes from hotel. And all the staff in hotel was amazing ! We got a lot of usfull and interesting information. Big hug to Pascual - the owner of this lovely place and wonderful manager . DEFINITELY WILL STAY HERE FOR NEXT TIME !

Small, friendly, beautifully designed hotel. Wonderful staff, agreed to our request to cancel one night due to a last-minute flight delay. Great location, wonderful breakfast. We were a party of three, the room for three was very comfortable, and the amenities in it - toiletries, water, hot beverage, etc. really made our stay enjoyable. A true Parisian Experience.

I can't imagine finding a better place to stay in Paris! This small hotel--a gem of up-to-the minute design--delivers big when it comes to convenience, comfort, and service. Clearly, this building was updated with care by a contemporary designer with a masterful eye. I loved that the antique elevator was retained as the work of art that it is. (There's a modern elevator, too, of course, to whisk guests up and down efficiently!) Great location. A lively neighborhood with many enticing shops and restaurants nearby. Many major sites within walking distance. Plus, the legendary Paris Metro, just around the corner, truly did make it easy to get wherever we wanted to go. To start each day, one of the best hotel breakfasts anywhere: the perfect breads and croissants found only in France, eggs or omelettes cooked to order, a nice selection of breakfast meats and cheeses, fresh fruits bursting with flavor--all served at our table by a woman I came to think of as l'ange du petit dejeuner (the angel of breakfast). For us, the true proof of Le Basile's value was the kind and unstinting assistance we received when confronted by an unexpected emergency. An extra helpful touch: staff members names are quietly posted at the front desk with graphics indicating the languages they speak. (Many!)

There was nothing we didn't like! However, we met a lovely couple from England who had one slightly negative comment. She wished their room had been a bit larger. I pointed out that in Paris, as in every great city, more square footage would necessitate a higher room rate. Though the room was smaller than ours at home, we managed just fine!

The room was incredibly cosy, very nicely sized and felt like home. The location is no less then perfect, I have not used public transport at all, not even once. It was such a pleasure to walk everywhere! The bed is extremely comfy as well.

Was a bit weird to leave the key every time you go outside, but it’s hotel policy

The hotel and room is a bit small (but it is Paris)! My husband and I are average size people (135 and 198 pounds) and could not pass each other at the same time without letting the other go first. The location is great, the breakfast in the morning was good for the items that we had when we could get it.

It didn't seem like the hotel could handle its occupancy for the breakfast. The guest services person asked us when we would like to have breakfast the next day. When we told them 0700 because we needed to catch a train. They indicated that they would not be able to accommodate us at that time because the had 12 guests that might be having breakfast at that time. They kept telling us that for each morning. The hotel might be understaffed but a guest should not feel like their needs don't matter. They suggested for us to grab a croissant, cheese, fruit and coffee. Unfortunately, the hotel seemed to be more concerned and attentive about the 12 guests then my husband and I.

Loved everything about this lovely hotel. The staff and breakfast was wonderful. Front desk very accommodating. Great time was had. Very quiet room on very quiet street. Great location.

I’m so happy I chose this hotel for staying in Paris. It starts with the people at the reception who were extremely helpful, kind and welcoming. Location is perfect, you have Opera, Louvre and Seine in walking distance but it’s located in a quiet area without late night bars so you can sleep peacefully. The room was beautiful and clean, I enjoyed the view to the building in front for it’s french style. Breakfasts are very delicious with freshly baked croissants and French pastries. Overall the best place to be!

We came as a family of 9. Got the breakfast package and it was so convenient for us to start our day with fresh croissants, eggs (all-styles), fresh fruit, coffee, charcuterie meats and cheeses. Located close to subway. Walking distance to the Louvre. We discovered the Monoprix grocery store on our last day beside a McDonalds where we found some fresh fruit, premade meals, snacks just in case this helps anyone with minor logistics. Staff are so helpful. We left our stroller at time of checkout (go figure! like Home Alone) and Pascal has been so gracious to courier it to us in Nice. He was so great with the kids and gave them a minor lesson in Paris attractions. They still speak of him fondly.

The location is excellent. Not only is it a walking distance of many great attractions/locations, but the hotel is also close to several metro stations. So everything you want to see is 20 minutes away at most - either by foot or subway. If you're planning a trip to central Paris, the location is perfect. The room was spacious and very comfortable. The attention to detail is very pleasing. The toiletries were of high quality. By the way, the hotel is eco-conscious&friendly. Unlike many Paris hotel rooms that feel claustrophobic, the room has enough room for both people. The high ceilings and big windows (with black-out shades) add to the spacious atmosphere of the room. The bathroom was new and aesthetically pleasing. The water pressure was great. The room has enough wardrobe space for 2. There was also a big TV, a room size fridge and a safe. A special note for the staff: The staff was very friendly and helpful. They were always smiling and cheerful. I definitely will be back at Le Basile - and recommend it to everybody.
