B&B HOTEL Pau Zénith

Very attentive staff/owners. The room was “tight”, but clean with comfortable bed! Breakfast was very adequate and good.

Easy to find, immediately off the autoroute. Despite that the hotel feels in a quiet and safe neighbourhood, with plenty of secure parking. The staff were extremely polite and the place was spotless. Breakfast was simple but enjoyable. Recommended dinner location a short walk away (steak restaurant with 10% off for hotel guests).

Some fixtures and fittings were not great. Room was a little small.

Although it’s classed as a Hotel it had a Bed & Breakfast feel & the Couple who ran it were excellent & couldn’t do enough for us very helpful .The ladies who cleaned were very friendly & welcoming .

A really lovely clean hotel. Staff excellent and very well kept, the breakfast was fabulous as well as the staff member, who was extremely helpful. would definitely recommend this hotel. Great value for money

Hotel automatically confirmed by email the code to use for "out of hours" checkin, but I arrived while reception was open anyway. Checked in politely and quickly, perfect If I had one word for this hotel it would be "efficient" Despite being only 1 min off the motorway, the hotel was in a very quiet location, with cheap food & fuel only a 5 min drive away. Plenty of parking, everything was very clean, the air conditioning worked well, the shower was good, it did everything that it needed to do and did it well I saw other reviews complaining about the room size, but I don't know why - you can easily walk around both sides of the bed, there is a small desk, the bathroom is well laid out - what more do you need? It's not somewhere you would go for a two week holiday, it's a quick stop (I left at 9am and I could see that the car park was almost empty by this time!) I didn't have breakfast but did have a coffee from the handy machine next to reception (double espresso, 2 euro)

Only minor points - the shower surface was a little slippery and it would have been good to have a small shelf in there - I had to reach around to the sink to pick up my soap

Very clean and very welcoming staff. The room was a good size for a short stay and the air conditioning worked well. Compact bathroom but a good size shower and again, very clean. Easy access and good parking. Good breakfast and good value.

The Hotel had no restaurant, which I knew in advance but the mentioned restaurants nearby were all fully booked and I had to use the car to go back into Pau. If I stayed there again, I would try and book the restaurant some days ahead.
